Tools, accountability, and challenges. It's everything you need to keep in track.

I think of myself as a non-practicing chocoholic. I haven't had chocolate since February. Since there's no way for me to have 'just a little bit' I had to go cold turkey instead. If you have a tough time controlling yourself, abstaining may be the way to go.

Saturday can be the best workout day. The usual distraction of work doesn't come into play. You can bike further, run longer, or lift more sets. It's all up to you.

How inspiring to hear a couple creating a new and healthy life together. Good for you.
-
Awesome! You are doing a fabulous job.
-
Very inspiring and you look amazing. I'm sure that this memory will be everything you need not only to get rid of the other ten pounds but to keep you active and on track.

This could be very dangerous. Have you not seen Wizard of Oz? You could be pelted with chestnuts! But seriously, I wouldn't see a problem with picking a few.
-
If you hadn't told me that both pictures were of you, I would not have known it. They don't even look like the same person. Which kind of makes sense. Because in a way, you're not. Kudos to you.

Good for you. Being determined beforehand will give you a boost of self control when you really need it.
-
Congratulations, you look fabulous and the dress is very flattering. Way to go.

I wonder if a feminist would be opposed to being called a Trophy Wife? I, for one, would be very proud. And you should be as well. Congratulations.

I did a couple of triathlons last summer. While one is participating they have two numbers written in marker on their body. Their participant number and their age. This can be very encouraging (or discouraging) as we pass or are passed. In the real world we do not walk around with our weight marked on our forehead. That…

That is fabulous. I'm not all that fond of running either but really think I should pick it up. Variety is the spice of life.

I swim, I lift, bike, run, yoga, zumba, spin, pilates. Every day something different. Variety is the spice of life and wards off boredom.

Not everyone knows how to be supportive. I know it's tough but stay positive. I'm sure that there are people that don't see you on a regular basis that can tell the difference.

I had a fabulously crunchy apple.

The only reason that a person should be ashamed is if they throw in the towel and give up for good. If you're willing to jump back in, there's still hope.

I eat a banana before I run and a protein shake when I'm finished. Also be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

I'm a big fan of boiled eggs. Also, you could make oatmeal in the crockpot the night before and it would be ready in the morning.
-
I agree. "Cheating" for the entire day makes no sense. I had a piece of pizza tonight but made sure to make it a smaller piece and stopped at one.

I just recently replaced our crockpot of twenty years. One of my family's favorites is white chicken chili. Super simple and always a hit. Chicken, salsa, cheese, beans, garlic...done.

I think breaking up your workout this way is a great idea. And, yes, you should still get a great caloric burn by splitting up your day.

I am very positive and I love mornings. The latter is not always appreciated by others, but I like it.

time and genetics and not paying enough attention to either one

Staying active is a big key to maintaing the weight loss as well as any amount of muscle tone.

I do like to eat a bowl of cereal once in a while but I'm sure to limit serving size. Checking the ingredients and nutrition first goes without saying.

Funny. My husband has been trying to convince me of that for years.

Agreed. My friend lost nearly 100 pounds and then felt the need to have breast reduction surgery. Her DD's were very much out of proportion to the rest of her tiny frame. Every body is different.

Beautiful transformation. Thanks so much for sharing...very encouraging. You are a true picture of diligence. dil·i·gent adjective 1. constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything 2. done or pursued with persevering attention; painstaking.
