I think it depends on how you carry the weight, I'm quite tall (5'8") so when I put on weight/lose it, it's not hugely noticeable. I've lost 20lbs so far (now 148lb from 168), my husband said I look thinner, but no one else notices.

The very first time I went to a kettlebell class I could barely move for at least 4 days! It's because it was new, now I'm used to them it doesn't hurt!
-
That's the reason I carry one, in case something happens. I had a group of people come after me a few years ago that quite clearly did not have good intentions, I had my phone in my hand ready to call 999, luckily a car came along and stayed with me until I was safe.

I used to just carry it back when I had a small phone, but now I have a bigger phone I use a SPIbelt. Before that I used to have an arm holder that did up with velcro, but it never really felt comfy. A running friend recently introduced me to the SPIbelt and I hardly notice I'm wearing it (I've tried other running belts…

I've not seen anything really unusual, I've seen deer, badgers and owls, a random lost stuffed toy horse. I suppose the most unusual thing I have seen on a run was someone getting knocked of their bicycle by a car, they were ok though. And an unusual thing to happen, someone threw an apple from their car at me, that hurt!

I used to take my dog running before she went blind. She always had a habit of tripping me up or stopping to do a poo when people were around!
-
I recently bought new running clothes as a sort of reward, though it was mostly because I just wanted new running clothes as my old ones were getting a bit worn!

Log it and move on. Sometimes I go over, most of the time I come under, and sometimes well under. It all evens out.
-
My knees are all clicky and crunchy when I do squats, but as they don't hurt I assume it's ok!
-
I often pre log and plan what I'm going to eat for the day ahead, if I don't it can be very easy to go over.
-
I had to give up drinking alcohol, I still have it occasionally, but as I'm on 1200 calories a day, there isn't enough room to drink wine without going hungry! I was drinking it a lot, nearly a bottle a night and is the biggest reason that I put on weight in the first place.
-
Alcohol, I really miss wine. I have it now and again, but generally speaking as I'm on 1200 calories a day, there just isn't enough room for wine.
-
I don't worry about the carbs or fat (I'm often over on both), I just worry about the calories. Having lost 19lb since January, I think it's safe to say it doesn't matter!
-
The only thing I log is my running which is done automatically from MapMyRun. I don't log my Kettlebell workouts. I don't eat back my exercise calories to allow for the fact I'm not super strict with weighing my food, I guess at it.
-
I've always run in the evening and it has to be after I've eaten, just because the family meal time is at a set time (for my kids benefit). I usually run about an hour or so after I've eaten.
-
Feel free to add, I'm 10lb away from my goal although I may drop another 5lb after.

Added :)

I love kettlebells, I've just literally got back from a kb class! I started KB's last October, I don't find them boring at all. I do them 3 times a week I between running, I go to a class once a week, and the other two times I follow a YouTube video at home.

I ride the horse regularly and I don't log it. Just a leisurely hack isn't going to significantly burn calories, it would be different if you were jumping.
-
I have 4 squares of chocolate each evening, I factor it into my calories for the day.
-
You need some with a drawstring in around the waist, any leggings without drawstrings gradually fall down when I run.
-
Same here.
-
Distance for me.
-
You will naturally get quicker over time, don't worry about it!
-
Mucking out the horse and riding didn't stop me getting fatter! It's all about what you eat.
-
I took up running 8 years ago, just after I had had my second baby. I always ran in the evenings after the kids had gone to bed, and I still do now out of habit.

Feel free to add me, I'm on 1200 and I eat normal food as I have a husband and two kids who aren't on a diet! My diary is open to friends.

Without fail, I cannot stand an unmade bed.
