Do you just put the kernnels in the bag and pop or do you have to add some sort of oil as well?

This is very interesting to me since I have issues with my knees as well. My hubby takes Nature's Made Fish Oil. 1200 mg with 360mg Omega 3 and he is a Pharmacist so I assume he knows his meds. lol I may start taking it for my knees. I don't have cholesterol issues.

UGH! SUCH BLASPHAMY!!! lol Just kidding :)

I am always under my potassium goal. I got close one day. I had 2 boca burger patties (1040 mg), Green Giant Antioxidant Blend Veggies (420 mg), an egg (66.5 mg), necterine (385 mg), greek yogurt (170 mg), 1 cup grapes (230 mg), peanuts (200 mg), protien shake (400 mg) and a multivitamin (80 mg). Of course this was a big…

The whole point to my post was everything in moderation. I could care less what the government says. I eat what I want (and I mean everything) in moderation. I'm just saying too much of anything is not good for you. And those are guidelines not rules written in blood. A healthy "balanced" diet is what it amounts too.…

I used Chantix with zero side effects. Didn't even finish the first pack and I've been smoke free for about 3 years now. My hubby just finished his a few months ago and is doing great not smoking. He still wants one when he drinks though. He however did have strange dreams but that's about it. He had to go the whole course…

I love BWW. Typically I will get either the 6 naked tenders with desert heat rub and a side salad (sub for fries) or a black bean burger with a side salad. You can sub the black bean patty for any burger on the menu and it's actually pretty dang good.

Actually here is the list of Healthy Guidlines that Weight Watchers provided for us when I was doing it. 1) 5 servings of fruits and veggies (9 if you weigh more than 350 lbs) so you're sure you're getting enough fiber and all other vitamins and minerals found in plants 2) 1-2 servings of lean proteins to stay satisfied…

Yes too much of anything. Good or bad. You can gain weight if you eat veggies in excess too. Granted you have to eat an *kitten* load of them every day but it can happen. I'm not saying you need to put a "cap" on your veggies. Obviously they are better for you than anything else but you should still not go crazy with them.…

The recommendation is 4-5 servings of fruit AND vegetables. A combination. Not just of fruit. 5 servings of fruit a day is a little much. Yes it is good for you but so is a lot of foods. Too much of anything is not.

2 pieces of fruit a day is actually about right. Healthy Eating Guidelines say you need 5 servings of fruit/veggies a day. 2 fruits and 3 veggies is perfect. I think the only way fruit will hinder your weight loss is if you eat it in excess. Obviously if you are diabetic you need to watch you intake as well but on the norm…

I saw a suggestion on here that is supposed to help with texture and smell. Obviously rinse very well with hot water and pat dry but it is suggested to dry fry them with a bit of cooking spray. This is supposed to help with the texture and make them more wheat noodle like.

lol...I was thinking somewhere along those lines too. Buy some from somewhere else and take them to her and her manager with the receipt and shove it in their faces and walk out. lol

When I was a 16/18 there were some things that my hubby thought I looked sexy in. I've seen many stunning sexy women in all different sizes. No way would I have left that store without making that bit** cry. Stand tall cuz you are sexy and beautiful. It's all in how YOU feel in YOUR skin. When you feel beautiful, others…

I just bought some last night. I'm making Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo tonight. Kinda nervous. Hope I (and most importantly my family) like these.

These are all great ideas. Thanks. Keep them coming. I made a shephards pie last week and didn't even think to put the squash in it. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to creating recipes or mixing flavors. lol
-
Thanks. Sounds good. I'll look it up.
-
Oh ya. I didn't even think about putting it into a chili or pasta sauce. That's a good idea.

This is kinda my problem. When it's canned it is done in water. Therefore it's not firm anymore. So I don't think roasting it would help. It's also in slices. I'm wondering about some recipes to incorporate it into or something.

Today I'm have boca burger patties and green giant steamer vegetables and snacks of Okio's Peach Greek Yogurt a plucot and an aprium (these are hybrid fruits of plum and apricots)

Who need TOM for chocolate? I crave it ALL the time. lol:love:

Came across these noodles at the store Saturday. I'm gonna go back and get some cuz I wanna make this as well as Fettichini (misspelled) Alfredo. Hope I like the noodle and more importantly I hope my family likes them so I can make more pasta dishes. YUM!

This is what I was thinking too

Oh ya! My hubby tends to "bottom out" these days. Lol. Our sex life has been amazing recently.

Good for you girl!

I'm cooking cuz my honey has to be at work at 6pm. Grilled BBQ Chicken Kabobs, Grilled Italian-Style Potato Salad and Key LIme Cheesecake squares. But if I were to go out to a steakhouse, I would either get a 4-6 oz lean sirloin or grilled chicken or grilled fish with steamed veggies and/or baked potato (sweet potato is…

Well I just got one off Amazon for $35. I know I'll have to remove the little tray from under my desk but hopefully it will do the job. Thanks for taking the time to respond to this.
