Probably. You could freeze them too. Frozen fruits make a great snack.

I tried to do this and it left me with about 30g for carbs. I go over that at lunch. I couldn't get the macros to do exactly as you suggested but close. I do think I probably need more protien and less carbs. I didn't realize my carbs were so high. But doesn't your body need the carbs to burn? Confused! :(

You can get the large curd or small curd. I buy the low fat (either curd works for me) and add salt and pepper and eat it with a spoon. I love it. But you can add fruit to it or add it to a recipe like lasagna or something.

bump for more opinions. I like to see what others think as well.

Thank you. I will keep this in mind. When I looked at it, I thought it may need to be changed.

I was looking up the difference in just using the oil vs the caps. It was saying that the caps are VERY processed and you would end up having to take 60-90 caps a day to get the benefit of 1 teaspoon of oil. No thanks. I'm sure the caps are beneficial but not near as much as the real stuff. I was looking for an easy way to…

LMFAO!! Love how you explained Alli!

Well I didn't read EVERY comment but this very well may be true for you because you had the surgery. I don't believe it's true for everyone. You need the small space in your stomach for actual food. Once that is digested then you can fill with the liquid. You probably don't have issues with not drinking during a meal…

lol...ya they are def approximations but will really help when your in a bind. Not even gonna go there about your gloves. lmao!

This comes straight out of my Weight Watcher Pocket Guide I got when I was doing WW. If you don't have access to a measuring cup or scale, this is a good way to "eye" your portion sizes. 1 cup - approximately the size of your fist 1 oz of meat or cheese - approximately the size of your thumb from tip to base 1 Tbsp -…

If you type "Indian" into the food database, there are several different foods listed with the NI. Also, if the restaurant you are going to happens to have a website they may have a NI chart for their menu. Other than that, I would say google the food you are eating and see if you can find anything close on the web.

I was just thinking about making some. hmmm

One of my hubby's favorite meals is Chicken covered with Sun Dried Tomato dressing. Bake or microwave till chicken is done and serve with mashed potatoes and veggies. You can spoon the drippings over the potatoes and it is so yummy.

Just explain to them that YES you are counting calories but that isn't the end of the diet. You are also eating "healthy" foods along with exercise.

The last time I had Indian, I ordered the Palak Chicken. It was really good. Around 278 calories per serving. You can type in "Indian" into the food database and it can give you an idea. If the restaurant has a website, you could look up the NI. Try to stay away from any cream based dishes. Our restaurant has a type of…

I'm 5'6.5. About a year ago I started at around 193 and lost about 30 lbs. Then gained some back. My most recent start weight was 179 and I am currently around 172ish. I don't officially weigh in at the gym for my 90 day challenge until Monday. My goal is to get between 135-140ish. Not sure I'll ever make the 130's so if I…

Headed there in about an hour. Cardiobox/Turbo Kick tonight and probably work the legs, shoulders and abs too while I'm there. ;)

I have used the Applied Nutrition product. Yes I did get more energy but not much luck in the weight loss area.

This does sound yummy. Wonder what the difference would be if you used Laughing Cow Cheese instead? Hmmm!

I eat them almost everyday for lunch since I work so far out of the city limits there aren't any places to go to eat. I don't have a lot of time to prepare meals ahead of time either. I have 2 three year olds and work full time and try to workout at the gym every day. So sometimes ever dinner is hard to actually cook…

A pound is a pound is a pound. A pound of fat just takes up more room than a pound of muscle.

Great Job! You're not alone in that. My nephew had or may even still have that problem. I didn't understand the smell when I was a kid but now I do. He was always a really BIG boy. And I now realize the problems he had and has is all due to his weight. I've always know him to be big. He has recently started loosing weight.…

Usually 5 or 6. I have to miss tomorrow and Friday in order to get my house in order for my hubby's birthday party on Saturday night. I'm already feeling guilty about missing it. But I will be doing a lot of leaning and stuff so at least I'll be active. I do pan on tilting in at least an hour Saturday morning prior to te…

I'm currently at 175ish and my goal weight is about 135 or 140

You can do that if you want to count points for your veggies and fruit. Otherwise, you would calculate everything individually. On the new Points Plus program, the fruits and most veggies are free. Of course that doesn't mean you should just eat a ton of them cuz they still have calories and natural sugars. As far as the…
