My last c-section (of 3) was 11 1/2 yrs ago and I'm still numb on the incision site. And I have to hold the right side if I sneeze or cough while straight...i.e., laying down, standing up...otherwise I have to bend my right leg so there's no pain.

I spent 4 years going to school online to earn my Bachelors. Sat there and ate and ate and ate 40 lbs on. I'm convinced sugar helps me think because now I'm doing an online Masters program without sugar and it's like the brain is vacant. But, I can't indulge it. Gotta find another way.

I'm in! I can't believe all the crap I ate over the last 2 weeks out of sheer anxiety and depression. I *think* this is exactly what I was doing everyday before I joined MFP in October. Ew, it feels so gross! No binging January!

There are the ones who judge and those who are envious about your spunk! Run for the ones who wish it were them!

Hi Everyone! I'm Helen and my partner in crime is "Marty" my 2 1/12 yr old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkshire mix). We've been doing 3 1-hr walks up and down hills at least 3 days a week, but it's sooooo hard in the cold! I did an hr yesterday and 45 mins Saturday when the temps went up, but the cold is coming back. Ugh. I guess…

I eat candy bars by the layer. Chocolate off the outside first, then each layer by itself. Especially Snickers and Clark Bars. Even M&Ms, though they're a bit challenging.

I read magazines backwards too. And I always have my undies and sox match my outfit. My nickname years ago was "The ensemble."

I think I can do the same thing: I can make either eye look to the side while the other stays straight. My sister-in-law has a lazy eye and I must have been so obsessed with them that I trained my eyes to do the same thing.

Family! I see my parents once a year and it sux. If I had $ to go more often, I'd be there monthly!!

Ugh, 10 cups a day? I can barely get in 5-6. But, I'll try.

For those in the Hudson Valley - 3 Greeks and a Gyro in Nyack is fantastic!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE GYROS! Thank GOD I'm not living in Pittsburgh because I'd be visiting Gali's today!!

I've approached MFP like AA - I'm Helen and I'm a food addict. I don't think AA people are encouraged to hide their drinking anymore than I should be hiding what I eat. My favorite thing about this site is that I can go off track and my friends only encourage me back on track. It's been so much more motivating than…

Welcome Vance! I hope you find great success here! What kind of chef are you? What I mean is, are you in a big restaurant or local? Don't they have different chefs doing different jobs in restaurants like only doing the entrees? Specializing? Maybe you can help us come up with tasty low cal dinners?

Wow! You look amazing! Thanks for sharing and inspiring us!

Fantastic! You look so much younger! Great job! :drinker:

Mine hasn't talked to me in 3 1/2 weeks. This is what he does when he's mad at me. I filed papers this past Monday, gave lawyer $7500, and am now desperately trying to figure out how to tell the two younger kids, AND when to serve him. I'm depressed and only want to shove something sweet and chocolaty into my mouth. Oh…

I feel for you, I hope things turn for the better soon. As for you, you're not looking at months of being off the plan. You'll bounce right back. Just be careful not to binge or eat too much junk. You need good food for energy to keep up with things. I like the previous post about parking further away every time. I also…

This is the best place to be able to talk to people and not get judged. People on here understand and I find them 100% more motivating than people I see in my "real" life. If you want, add me to be a "real" fake friend. Helen

Chompy face! I love it!!

I make candied yams with marshmallows on top. It's my once-a-year love. I just discovered a less caloric way of preparing them that tastes just as yummy! I might just eat just that and turkey on Thanksgiving! And Water, no milk, no pie, no cookies, no creamy casserole. And maybe some mashed pototoes....

Wow, I can't believe how many have such low RHR! That's fantastic. I always wonder if my RHR of 80 is actually a bad thing for my heart for overstress or a good thing for a nice aerobic workout for it! But, when I do get it up during exercise, it comes down very quickly, which is the sign we want. I went to doc today…

Glad to hear I'm not alone. I did my bachelors completely online and am now working a masters. And about to embark on divorce. Three kids, 2 of which have education plans, .... So much going on that when I'm sitting here researching I just feel like I'm going to jump out of my skin if I don't get something sweet. I took a…

To not have my legs rub together and cause so much friction, I might catch on fire!
