2% Fage greek yogurt for the win! This stuff is the best! Add in a chopped apple and some chopped almonds- yum!

I have been doing a combo of running and strength training for over 2 years. I normally run close to 20 miles/week (6-7 miles 3x week) and strength train/lift heavy 2x week. The running has had no impact on either weight gain and/or inability to gain muscle. As others have stated, weight gain/loss is all based on your…

Ha ha- it will get better! About 3 weeks in- I could actually get through the workouts without having to pause the DVD. Aaaand then, Month 2 starts and you feel like you're starting all over again ;-) Just keep pushing through!

2% Plain Fage for the WIN!!!! I've had EVERY single greek yogurt out there, and this one always tops my list :-)

Thanks :-) Fingers resolved it clears itself up soon!

Thanks! So I'm guessing.... no workout tonight??? ha ha- I kid, I kid! @lisa1ll, I'm giving myself until Wednesday night and if there's no improvement by then, I'm making the dreaded call to the dr on Thursday morning. @micheleb15- thanks for the sympathy. It just sucks. I'm not one to make excuses for not getting my…

Bump! Sounds delish :-)

I'm a morning runner :-) I get up at 5:30 am 3x week. I get up, brush my teeth, get dressed (after hitting snooze once ;-), and head out the door. On these days, I actually don't even eat breakfast until 8 or after. After my run, I usually drink a couple cups of coffee- after a 6 mile run, I'm surprisingly not very hungry.…

Its so funny that you would ask that... I usually take a week break about every 3 months or so, and its been a LONG while since I've taken a rest week. Probably sometime back in early Spring? It may be time for a rest week! And kind of perfect timing as my kiddos are getting ready to head back to school in exactly a week…

Good for you! I'm right there with you- our bodies need an extra dose of nourishment, especially when we're working our butts off! Personally, I do one of these days once a week- I don't count the cals, but I know its WAY up there. And it doesn't affect my goals in any way. And actually, the day after is always my best…

Anybody???

I think you would be fine to do another recovery week! I would NOT take off the entire week right before diving into Month 2.

Sounds yummy!

Bump!

I'm calling BS on this- no offense buddy :-) I bet if you google hot chics in skinny jeans- you'd feel differently. I think that guys look ridiculous in skinny jeans, but women are hot in skinny jeans! Of course, everyone has different opinions on what looks good, but I bet you looked great.

My current fav is 1 whole egg+2 egg whites+ one mashed banana. Mix it all up and cook like pancakes. I pair this up with some sliced strawberries and greek yogurt. YUM! Plus the mandatory cup of coffee!

You should check out the app "Rock my Run"- it is fabulous! You can choose different genres of music, and then they will give you a list of different types of mixes. I've been using this for the past week or so, and its great :-)

Frozen grapes!

I eat around maintenance for 6 days out of the week, then cheat to my heart's content on the the other day ;-) I've been at my goal weight for a LOOOOONG time doing this, and have never had any issues. BUT, I work my booty off with heavy lifting, HIIT, and running. I think it all depends on the individual? I need that one…

Girl crush over here! WOW

BUMP!!!!!! This sounds awesome ;-)

Yep, I agree with the other poster about the water retention. Your muscles are iust repairing themselves. One of the best lessons I've learned along this long road is to not place so much emphasis on the number on the scale. Theres just way too many outside factors. Pay attention to how you feel and the way your clothing…

Sloppy joes!!!! Yum!

I agree with Forever 21- I had NO idea they had such cute and inexpensive clothing! Also, Marshalls and TJ Maxx are awesome places to score some good deals :-)

How is your arch? I actually saw a pair of Asics Gel Cumulus in the local Marshalls the other day, and thought it was a steal for $50 :-). But I knew I wouldn't be able to return them if they didn't work out.

I couldn't pull up this link :-( BUT, I believe that I need more motion control than these from what I've read?

I currently own a pair of Brook Dyads, and these were the pair that they fitted me for about a year ago. I do love them, and see they have them on brooks site for $110. I've also found last years model, which I currently own, cheaper other places since they have new models out now, but no where in my size :-(

Thanks guys! Like I said before- been to the local store to be fitted before. Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for cheaper pair that fit well and were comfortable???
