Yes, definitely. I have been doing yoga off and on for over a year and have just started to get into more intermediate/advanced exercises and it has helped my flexibility a lot. You should give it a chance. It'll also make you more relaxed and help with your breath control

You can't beat yourself up for one day of slipping up. We all have those days and they won't hurt your weight loss progress (It's just one day, after all). Just tell yourself you won't do that again for a while. This can be your "fatty-food day" for the month.
