I just laughed out loud at work. I'm already known as the loud, inappropriate goofy one!

I just drink wine. My mantra is, "If I do this, I can have wine later." Gets me through a tough workout.

The cheerleaders!! Loved them! Remember being in H.S. and watching Wayne's World. Such great memories. Loved Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey!!

THANK YOU! It ain't easy, but it's do-able. I have to sacrifice other things, but it's a priority for me, so I'm glad to do it. I guess now, I don't really see it as a sacrifice. I guess I see it now as exchanging one hobby for a new one. :) :)

That would be me, and my boy/girl twins. I've learned to embrace my most awesome, long, thick, shiny, I don't have to do anything but wash it in the morning hair. I used to get teased all the time in school, but now I'm the one who's laughing because they are all starting to go grey, and spend thousands of dollars a year…

All I know is that fruit makes me poop, so I'm going to keep on eating it. :flowerforyou:

I completely agree with this. I took a week off work last year to deal with this. Allowed myself to gain a few pounds knowing that the weight would be my second phase of getting healthier. I did it cold turkey. I slept a lot. Apologized to my husband and kids before hand. I felt like I was crawling out of my skin at time.…

Food...Whether I eat it or not, I love to cook. Wine....I limit myself to a glass a day, and journal it. I love learning about it and going to festivals during the summer.

Exactly, we get so caught up on the little stuff sometimes, and forget the big picture.

Haha! Hubtard, I love it!

We have a lot of different pet names for each other, Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Big Daddy, the Missus (he's from Ireland), and really don't think twice about it. Yes, I've called him hubby to others in and out of his company. He's the type who would say something if it offended him. Neither one of us get our knickers in a wad…

I've been struggling with my weight for what seems to be my entire life....But the moment when I finally got fed up was when my family and I went to Florida in March, and I needed to ask the flight attendant for a seatbelt extender. I felt humiliated.

This is so my husband. I once took him grocery shopping with me, and we split the list. I mistakenly wrote, "cream of cream of mushroom soup." I found him a half hour later in the soup aisle all flustered because he couldn't find the cream of cream of mushroom soup. I don't think he's stepped foot inside a grocery store…

Love the Gloria Steinem reference. I was going to say no need to get your knickers in a wad. I know many women like this, and before I put the bulk of my weight on, I was like this, and now hope to be like this again. And I have a little one in training. I get compliments from other women in department stores when I take…

Red, Red Wine...Sorry, couldn't help it. I love wine!

I typically drink nothing but water and black coffee. I had a Diet Coke a couple of weeks ago because I was thirsty and craving something sweet. I really could have gone without it.

You have to drink a heck of a lot in a very short period of time in order for water to be toxic. I drink about a gallon of water a day. Especially in this heat, you need extra water, especially if you're spending any time outside.

Im a case worker for the state's welfare department. I process applications for puplic assistance programs, and then maintain the cases for any changes and on-going support the clients might need.

Love the festivals, very upset they moved the Traverse City Wine Fest from mid-August to this past weekend. [/quote] I know!! I was pretty ticked as well. I was hoping to go for my anniversary, which is in August. I'm thinking about doing the Southeast bus tour in the fall, though.

I'm Angie and I'm a red girl....Red wine, red hair, and my favorite color is RED!! I live in Michigan, and we have a lot of great vneyards here. Any weekend in the summer, you can find some sort of wine festival in our several different wine regions.

I responded to a post yesterday about our Mantras. One of my responses was, "If I do this, then I can have wine when I'm done." Monday is set aside for Wine Night in my house. I have to make sure that I get enough exercise in so I may partake in more than one glass.

We have a fabulous new Y in town, and child care while we work out is included in our membership. I used to send my 9-year-old daughter there until about a week ago. I'd do my workout, and then we'd both go swimming afterwards. I noticed that most of the kids there were a lot younger than her, and she was bored. I figured…

And Monday is Wine Night at my house.
