Since you lost that 20 pounds, you probably need to evaluate how much you're eating and how much you're exercising. Have you been logging food and calories? At this point you have to cut back from what you've been eating since April. OR add in more exercise. It sounds like you need to find something that keeps your hands…

@betsyellens22 Oh I wish I was 20 and 170 pounds... 170 is my current goal weight and I might just be happy there (albeit still obese) but I know that one day I will find myself happy with a weight and the way my body looks, even if it is rounder than other women. I love food. I love eating. I like fruits, veggies, meat,…

Correct me if I'm wrong, OP, but your point was NOT that you cannot eat a donut. The point was more that you were amazed that those two gigantic spring rolls have the same calories as a donut... and for you, the two spring rolls are much better than the donut. As I've started paying attention to calories, I've found that…

What works for one does not always work for the other. There are people who benefit from the structure of the program. I personally don't think I could do it. However, the program allows those who don't have a balanced diet eat a more balanced diet. If you don't like it, that's fine. You can have that opinion, but you…

Her stuff can be healthier... but sometimes not! LOL

Since you keep saying this... here's my question of you, what is "regular food" and "at a deficit"? It seems you aren't familiar with 21 Day Fix. I agree with this post. I also think there are people who need to do something that will get them into eating less than they do now. It's not just as easy as "eat at a deficit"…

Shakeology isn't meant to be used for all meals. It is used in place of one meal. At some point, people who drink Shakeology will cut it from their diet (or only use it once in awhile) and have to use the knowledge they've stored up to continue eating healthily for that meal. It's nice that you're concerned about the OP.…

We have had skim for as long as I can remember. However, a couple of years ago I switched to almond milk. Now I only drink dairy milk when I really crave it. As for other dairy, I go with low-fat/light, but am not against full fat, depending on what it is. I prefer to get my fats from other sources (avocado, nuts). I…

Your hubby might be washing it too much. He's stripping the natural oils, which then mass produce. For a week, just try washing it once. And don't use super hot water. Just my two cents. :)

Do what you want.

I think it is a parent's responsibility to teach their child(ren) about healthy lifestyles. My niece, age 11, asked me one day if I was using MFP (my sister has used it on and off and my niece knows about it) and I told her that I have been. She asked why. I told her that I want to lose weight and be healthy. She has been…

Using a food scale is a great idea. You want to make sure you're logging accurately. I looked at your food diary and I think you are grossly underestimating the food you are eating. For example: 1/4 C of soup... I give my cat 1/4 C of food for lunch. Surely you ate more than 1/4 C. I think you need to allow yourself to eat…

I'm not going to lie, that would motivate and demotivate me. I'd intentionally NOT log food because I wouldn't want the message, but I would appreciate it on days that I needed to be reminded why I'm here...

Unfortunately, if you're in the US, you probably have to order bras online because most US bra manufacturers don't make bras the proper size or there's huge inconsistencies (as mentioned by others). Confession: I am suffering with my bras by Cacique that aren't quite the right size because I want to lose weight before I…

Oh I totally would!!! My family's first two cats were strays that we brought in. Since then my family has had 5 cats (combined between my parents, my sister, and me) and all were from the Humane Society. We had a dog years ago that we bought from someone who could no longer take care of her.

I'm sorry that you're feeling discouraged. However, you cannot allow this website/app to control your feelings about yourself. It is an algorithm that is set up to warn people when they haven't met the minimum calorie goal. This is to help people be healthy. I haven't attempted to look at your diary, yet, so I can't make a…

I want to get a dog. It's about to become one of my goals. I just have to find a new place to live, too. LOL

@robertsgirl1026 you'll probably want to delete your post with the advertising because I'm fairly certain that goes against forum rules :)

And you say other people have an attitude problem?

My breakfast this morning: 1 C hashbrowns (I use the stuff that comes frozen in a bag) 1 chicken breakfast sausage (from Aldi) 1 egg 6 T egg whites 50 g of broccoli I could've added more veggies, but was running behind. The egg & egg whites are scrambled and cooked in a skillet. I cooked the hashbrowns with a bit of oil…

Confession: I just logged my food for the entire day so that I could determine what I can eat from McDonald's for dinner tonight. Now I'm feeling guilty and might end up going with a salad anyway. :'(

I highly suggest using the recipe builder on an actual computer, if you can. I've found that using it via the app is more difficult. (That could be user error.) The thing I do differently than rabbitjb is I measure the recipe out into the actual serving size that I'll eat and see how many servings it gets me. If you're…

I fear pregnancy and breastfeeding for this reason. Yet another reason to lose weight before that happens!!!

The first time I laid eyes on Nutella was in Poland. My host family bought it for us because they thought all Americans loved Nutella. I made sure to buy some once I got home! :)

You can't spot reduce. Even in your boobs. If you're losing weight and not losing it there, it's most likely that you're bigger because of genetics. And I have no sympathy for you... I wish I was a C cup... I'm a 40 G (actually should wear a bigger cup size, but this one works fine).

So not judging!! Hilarious, though!

I own every season. They're currently in my storage unit and I wish that I had them... but then I'd really get nothing done. I have no problem watching the whole season in one sitting.

When you say that you're a big "yo-yo'er in weight," what is the range? It is completely normal for weight to fluctuate from day to day or week to week. It will be extremely difficult to keep your weight exactly the same each day because diet and activity level change daily, so you might find that you weigh .5 pound…

I just rubbed hand sanitizer in my work shoes and on the bottom of my feet... it says it's antibacterial... my shoes smell, as do my feet. That's bacteria build up, so it should all be better now, right?!

Sounds like you just like to binge. There are support groups for that. ;)
