  • Oh yes, i forgot crumpets! There's nothing like a hot toasted, buttered, marmited crumpet! I've now got a picture in my head of a ward full of marmite addicts hooked up to drips! Mind you, i haven't had any for a little while, damn this healthy eating!

  • I would choose chocolate, but specifically Minstrels and a nice cold Lager
  • Oh yes, i really fancy some now - with some cheese on toast made with thick white bread . It really is the best with cheese, especially a nice mature cheddar! It's a good job they don't have a grill here at work

  • Marmite is the best - don't understand how people can hate it  I would eat it on toast, crackers, ryvitas, in a sandwich, on it's own with a spoon or just hook me up to a drip!

  • Hi, i'm also from Hampshire! Any UK people please feel free to add me - i could do with some more support (and like to give it too). Good luck to you all
  • Hi, Can I join please? I'm from Hampshire, UK. I've had quite a few 'off'' days in April and beginning of May due to weekends away and Bank Holidays. My main goal for May is to drop below the 168lbs (12stones) mark. I would be so happy to be able to do that this month. My weight has gone up and down between 169 and 172 for…
  • I weigh myself most mornings before breakfast, but i only log it if i have lost from my last logged weight. My weight tends to go up and down quite a lot. At the moment my last logged weight is 169.4, but this morning i was 171. It will probably go up and down between 169.4 and 171 for a couple of weeks and then hopefully…
  • I'm 5'4" and am set at 1300 calories per day (to lose 1lb a week with 4 workouts of 30 mins). I usually manage to keep at around 1300 but sometimes go slightly over if it isn't an exercise day. I do eat back at least half of my exercise calories and sometimes all. I'm at a bit of a plateau at the moment, but i did have a…
  • I had what you used to have - yogurt and fruit (mixed berries). I add a bit of granola in there aswell to make it more interesting. I must say your breakfast sounds interesting. Do you have the egg whites raw?
  • Hi, I'm 36 and have a 14 month old son. I know how you feel about never having time to exercise or take care of yourself. Snap! Feel free to send me a friend request! Good luck with your weight loss!
  • Hi Carol, I'm not new on here, but started off similar to you - 5'4" and 65lbs to lose. Feel free to add me as a friend for some motivation? Good luck with your weight loss!
  • Don't worry - you can get straight back on it again! I find it harder when i am at home - i'm much more disciplined at work. Try logging your meals/snacks as you are eating them - don't leave it all until the end of the day as you will have no idea how many calories you are eating. Try to have some low calorie…
  • Hi, I'm a mum of a 13 month old, just over halfway through my weight loss journey, add me as a friend if you like
  • Hi, Don't worry - you were obviously really really tired! I guess to get the best results you should do it every day, but i don't think 1 day off is going to harm too much. I only do it about 3 times a week, but that was my plan to start with - to mix it in with other cardio exercise. Just try again tonight - can you do it…
  • Hi Michelle, Welcome to MFP and good luck with your weight loss! I'm also from the UK, feel free to add me as a friend for support!
  • I can definitely see a difference in the 'side on' photos - look at your bottom - it definitely looks smaller. And your tummy and arms are smaller. Don't give up, you are doing great!
  • I am 5 feet 4, weigh 170.8 pounds, Size 5-6 shoe (depending on shop) and UK size 16 on top (DDs:blushing: ) and UK size 14 on the bottom (but occasionally size 16 depending on the shop).
  • Hi, I'm not breastfeeding, but i have a 13 month old son and am working full time. About 7 or 8 months ago, before i started finding the time to exercise and before i started to really lose the weight, i felt a bit like that - depressed, anxious, fed up of being overweight and just generally tired all the time. Now that i…
  • Hi, I bought this one from M&S (if you are in the UK?). I'm a DD cup and it's fantastic! Really keeps them in place! Not too bad a price aswell. The colour is a bit bright, but i've always got a tshirt over the top, so it doesn't really matter to me.…
  • Welcome to the site - it's great! You can add me if you like - i'm always looking to give support and recieve it!!
  • Hi Taylor, The first thing you should do is to get some weight loss friends on here - it makes such a difference to be accountable to friends and to see other peoples successes and to always have people on hand to ask advice. I'm sending you a friend request now. Good luck, i hope you make your goal and are successful in…
  • Wow, you look fantastic, can definitely see the difference, especially in your face and legs. Brilliant!
  • I know how you feel - my weight loss has been very slow - 34lbs over about 10 months, but i've just started having the odd person say to me how good i look or 'have you lost weight'?, which is a great feeling. Keep going and remember that the slower it comes off, the more likely it is to stay off
  • Congratulations to you - that's fantastic! I know how you feel because it happened to me the other day - started out at 35.7, now 29.8. Isn't it great just to be 'overweight'?? Good luck with the rest of your weight loss! Marie

  • Can definitely see a difference - look how much more toned your legs are! Amazing! Good for you
  • No, most definitely not. I just couldn't carry on as normal whether it was my brother, sister or sister-in law. Some things just can't be forgiven. All the best to you x
  • Hi all fellow UKers - do you mind if i join?? March has been good for me so far - have gone from 'obese' to just 'overweight' and am feeling great. The weather is nice and it encourages me to do more exercise. Instead of lurching around (like i was last year) i actually feel like i have a spring in my step! Hope you are…
  • That's fantastic, well done. So pleased for you.
