  • Hi, you can add me if you like - im not such a new mummy, but i work full time also and know how hard it is to juggle everything!
  • I got married just over a year ago and my wedding ring actually fell off me this morning! Don't know if that's good or bad - good I think!
  • What about those treasury tag things - they would do the trick!
  • I work full time and have a 13 month old son. It is hard to find the time to exercise and perhaps i don't do as much as i should. If i get to work early (usually about twice a week) i go for a 20 or 30 min walk before going into the office - nice way to start the day. About twice a week i go for a 25 min walk/run at…
  • Well done you! The jeans that i am wearing at the moment i bought just before Xmas. I can now take them off without undoing the button or zip! I've actually got some tops in my wardrobe that are too big for me - usually it's the other way round!
  • Your children are beautiful and you are doing brilliantly - good luck and keep going!
  • I can definitely see a difference in your tummy. Can't really see your face, but i bet that is slimmer also. Keep going, you're doing fab!
  • Hi, The deficit is calculated from your maintenance calories, not the BMR. I didn't have enough deficit to lose 2lbs a week either, mine is 1.3lbs per week. You just have to go with it - if you eat too little it won't work. This website explains it all a bit better, although the calculator comes up with slightly different…
  • Hi, I've made these small changes - some just in the last few days and some i have done for a while. Sometimes i have a Sweet Potato baked in the oven instead of a normal potato - saves quite a few calories and is just as nice. I never have butter or margarine in my sandwiches, in fact i never have - i don't see the point.…
  • I usually have either some muesli or oat granola (Quakers do a nice one which isnt' too high in calories) with some low fat greek yogurt and have just started adding some raspberries and blackberries to it. It's absolutely delicious and if you choose the yogurt/cereal carefully it can be less than 300 calories (depending…
  • :noway: You look Fantastic! And so much younger - well done!
  • You look great, i can definitely see a difference.
  • I can definitely see a difference and you look so much younger - well done to you! x
  • Well done, that's brilliant. So pleased for you!
  • That's such a difference - well done! You are an inspiration x
  • I feel for you - we all have bad days, but you can do it and you can start again now!! If i were you i wouldn't weigh myself for at least a week, because if you have put some weight back on it will de-motivate you further. You might be pleasantly surprised in a weeks time! Take care
  • Hi Karen, ive been on here a while, but always looking for new support and like to give support back also! Feel free to add me as a friend!

  • I really don't have any - that was the best one i think. Since we had our son we mostly just take photos of him! The only other recent ones i have of me i am holding him (which would hide even more of me!). I will have to ask my husband to take some new photos of me.
  • Definitely 206 pounds:smile:
  • Thanks everyone! I will take some better pictures soon and then can make a better comparison next time! I'm terrible at having my photo taken! :blushing:
  • Yay, well done, must be a great feeling. I've got about 1lb to go until i get there - can't wait to just be overweight!
  • I don't think that is obsessive - my scales are always in the same place anyway - in the bathroom. Obsessive is when you have to weigh yourself every single night and morning! How do you stick to once fortnightly?! I've just seen that your pre-pregnancy weight is the same as mine. I'm 0.8lbs away from mine - but still have…
  • Hi, I weigh myself every day (i know i shouldn't) and measure myself every other day, but i only check in if i have lost any inches, pounds or body fat, or if my muscle mass has increased any (trying to lower body fat and increase muscle mass).

  • You look great, you are an inspiration, well done :0)
  • Hi, I am on Day 5 of level 1. You are supposed to do it every day, but i miss the odd one if i'm busy or am doing aerobics instead. I have done it 5 times in a week. It is hard for me, but then i'm quite unfit. I always feel great afterwards though and am starting to feel a difference already. Have already lost an inch…
  • Hi Dierdre, I'm from the UK and my son will be 1 this weekend. I have been on here quite a while (seriously since November) and am almost half way to my goal. I've lost the baby weight, now just need to lose the extra that i was carrying around previously. Good luck with your weight loss journey. Please add me as a friend…
  • Hi, I'm from the UK and a Mummy to a little boy who is 1 this weekend! I've lost the extra baby weight and am now working on the extra weight that i was carrying before! Good luck with your weight loss. Add me as a friend if you like!
  • Welcome to MFP, you'll get all the support you need here, everyone is really friendly. Well done for losing 22lbs already! That's great. Think of it more as a lifestyle change than a diet and you'll get through it. I'm like you - i'm quite lazy and making myself exercise is hard, but once i'm doing it i do enjoy it. Good…
  • I always thought they were 2 sizes away. e.g a UK size 4 would be a US size zero. As for a lady of 167lbs not fitting into a size 12 - it would also depend upon the persons height - a quite tall lady of 167lbs may easily fit into a size 12, but if i was 167lbs i definitely wouldn't either!
