I have a couple of goals during the holiday period. FIrst of all I would like to lose at least 1 pound per week (this gets especially hard once the fudge comes out). My second goal is to begin exercising.

This is such a great project idea. I found out about it too late last year, but hoepfully I can do a couple after I finish my CHristmas knitting this year. LOVE the Special Olympics

WHen you search, you can select to search only free patterns. I have knitted everything off of there from sweaters to hats and have never paid for a pattern.

I have hte same problem when I lose weight, but I am 6'3" so there is weight covering a large area :). Have you gone out and tried on clothes in different sizes? Just because yours aren't falling off doesn't mean that they really fit you. Maybe you should go out and see if a smaller size fits better than what you own.

I am a high school anatomy and physiology teacher, so I am in charge of the scientists of tomorrow :)! Loved reading what everyone else does, this is a pretty interesting bunch!!

I am just not getting the hang of this board thing :)! Missed posting on Wednesday and need to figure out the challange for this week. I did lose another pound though!! That was even with getting into the kids' halloween haul. Have to get more serious this week.

Awefully surprised this afternoon when I caught myself thinking about how many calories I had to budget for an unhealthy snack this afternoon before I ate something. Guess I am finally starting to get it. I still get a lot of calories at this point, but it won't always be that way :).
