Thanks for this, the goals set on MFP are very similar to this calculator. I have added extra calories to mine to allow for BF baby.

Thanks everyone! I'm just going through all your ideas and also figuring out my weekly calorie count. I appear to be under when looking at the whole week. My main reasoning for only eating back half of my exercise calories was I wasn't sure how accurate the estimate was. Some activities seem to have a very high estimate…

I've got approx 30 to go as well. I've been steadily losing just over a pound a week so hoping to be at goal weight by April 2016.

Thanks for the good advice. I've just bought some decent shoes and they were comfortable so I bought another pair, the organisers of the walk suggested alternating days with 2 pairs of shoes so I hope this helps prevent sore feet

I should mention I am 161cm tall, currently 71kg and my goal weight is ~58kg. I am still b/feeding my last baby which I assume I need to consume a few extra calories for but she is 8 months old now so not too much.

We are on a very restricted diet at the moment trying to determine what he is actually allergic to. So I am not allowed to have rice or rice milk :-(

Ooh, your honeycomb idea sounds yummy!! I am definitely going to try it for me (my son is too young, only 8 months old). Thanks for the book idea, I'll check it out. I'm struggling with the buckwheat and things as I can't add anything to them, no forms of milk are ok so far :-(

Hi, how are you going with your food ideas? I have been put on a very restricted diet due to my son's allergies. Have you tried buckwheat? I have been having buckwheat pancakes with golden syrup. It is about the closet thing to a treat I can have!

Hi, I haven't exactly got a new baby, my 3rd is nearly 8 months old but I have just started trying to lose the baby weight in the last month. Before I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd I was very close to my goal weight so I am keen to get back there again. Only 10kg to go...

I've now officially started. Even got my husbnd to do the first day with me :-)

I'd like to be in too. I started it a couple of weeks ago but got too busy to keep going.

I have 2 young kids and I'm working part time. I wasn't losing weight either after having my son until I came on here in October last year and started eating better and exercising. I have to admit my husband is a shift worker and so he has found time to help with the healthy meals a lot which has been great. Feel free to…

Hi, I have 2 kids (3yr girl and 1.5yr boy) and live in Vic too. Would love more friends on here if anyone wants to add me :-)
-
You've done well to lose 5 already! Feel free to add me too. Would love to have a friend on here that works in kg instead of lbs!! I have a 3yr old girl and 1.5yr old boy. I am struggling a bit with my weight loss at the moment but think I am back on the right track now.

Hi, I don't have twins but I am a twin :-) I have a 3yr old girl and 18month old boy. I am trying to get back to pre-pregnancy weight and am halfway there now. Feel free to add me too :-)

Good on you for the positive attitude EmmieSu, and Good luck with December!
-
ooh, add me too please
-
I'm sorry to hear of your loss EmmieSu. Losing your mother is very difficult and I hope you don't put extra stress on yourself by worrying about the scales etc.
-
I'm curious too but I'm really looking forward to a big loss when I weigh myself in December, will be worth the wait, rather then the tiny ups and downs weighing everyday...
-
I took the batteries out and put the scales in the top of my cupboard, has been heaps easier to forget about them!
