I'm making a point to make realistic goals for myself, so I'm going to say 15 pounds in the 15 weeks. That'll take me from 158 (est.-I've been avoiding my scale, so it could be less or more-I'll weigh right before this challenge starts) to 145. I'm also setting a goal of practicing yoga 7 times a week (5 days of weight…

Wow, thanks for all of that input, everyone! I'd really like to start power yoga, my fit sister-in-law (whom also attends the same regular yoga class as I do) has started that recently and says it kicks her butt. I'll check out some reccomendations I saw on here. :D

Heyo! I have an 18 month old daughter, and while my stomache has always been my 'problem area' (even when i was underweight in highschool at 100 lbs) now it just 'hangs'. In fact I kinda miss having just that SLIGHT pooch that I used to gripe about so much. Just no more hanging, please!

Becoming out of breath after a flight of stairs...at 21, that's preeetty embarrassing!

I'm a big fan of Dev and The Cataracts lately. :D

I did Tae Bo (Billy Blanks) a looong time ago. They're fun, good for people like me with ADD. xD But that was a while ago when I was more in shape... The Zumba DVDs are fun, a bit hard to keep up with if you're really out of shape, just go at your own pace! I feel a little silly when I do them, but I just wait till the…

Thanks, everyone! I find myself making the excuse of, "Well, it's not as beneficial as morning workouts, so what's the point?" but I need to get my *kitten* into gear on a regular schedule. >:O

I'm in!

Where do you all have the most problem areas? Most short women I know that are trying to lose weight say their stomach....I get really jealous of super tall friends that even have babies and a month later-ploop-flat tummy! Even when I was skinny (110) I had a little 'pot belly', but now, post-baby, SHAZOO....okay, maybe…

HAHA! Oh I'm so glad to hear someone else say that...especially when it's usually obese women that say that...you can't be a small-framed woman, get fat, then start saying that! WHAT IS THAT! ...I also think it's insulting to naturally thin women. ><

5'2, here. :D Anyone else have chunky calves? Even when I was younger and fit I had 'muscular calves'...I hated them at the time, but looking back, I kinda miss 'em. Now they're just flabby. Bleeeh.

Totally agree. When I was a teenager I wanted to be 'skinny', so I became skinny, easily--I quit eating. I felt so weak and grumpy all the time I really missed out on a lot. Now of course I'm overweight, but I want to be FIT! I want to be able to run at the drop of a hat, chase my kid all over the place, go hiking for fun…

THANK YOU!

Darnit, how do you post pictures...

I like this one (and the other ads that are within this campaign) because it reminds me that I want to be FIT, not just SKINNY (as was my previous goal that caused so much frustration and unhealthy habits as a teenager)

Hypnotherapy? Sounds interesting. I would love that. >:]

Wish I could see, but wow, congrats! I hope to do Insanity one day, it looks like a really awesome workout!

LOL I love this, "I'm not giving up my dinner" paired with your profile pic...it looks like you're ready to fend off the chocolate with violence. But, seriously, this is a good idea, personally I'm afraid I'd go nuts with it but it might work for others! Kudos to you!

I just got this PM I thought was really helpful I'd like to share from complete_angel Hi ok first I am sending you a PM not because I am crazy or creepy but because I am not allowed to post in the forums right now. Long story. Anyway, I had/have a severe addiction to soda. I would drink a minimum of 6 a day and it was…

THIS is so true! I find if I'm offered a high-quality chocolate, I truly enjoy it slowly, and I'm good with 1, MAYBE 2 pieces, but if it's cheap sugary stuff I go nuts with it!
-
Choco covered raisins are AMAAAZING...thanks for this, though. I know I can do this, I just have to find the right attitude.

That's a very good thought. Problem is, they purposefully take off the ingredients on the 'fun size' pouches. But I think if I can focus on how I'll feel adding in to MFP later, I'll be less likely to eat it. Thanks!
-
I hope I can get to this point. I always think, "I'll just have one piece..." but the second I have that one little taste I am going crazy to get more. I feel like a drug addict...

Great idea!

Hi, there! Tulsan, non sports fan (GASP!!), whatsup?

WOW! So inspirational. Btw, I love your dress in the last photo!

Thanks, I'm packing lots of veggie snackies for tonight. Smoothies are soooo yummy but I have no way of making them there or taking them with me. (we only have a mini-fridge in our break room). Thanks for the tips!

It does, thanks! I'm sending you a friend request, accept if you like-we have similar stats. :]
