When I was 16, I went from 145 to 125 due to my ADD medication causing me to eat less. I was WELL within my healthy range (5'1...was told by my doctor to 'aim for 117') and yet still had people telling me I had lost too much, that they were 'worried', etc. I think it's honestly just the whole new haircut thing...even if it…

HAHA! I gained my weight with my pregnancy, and as a person being known for being cold when everyone else is toasty, I was kinda like, "well, at least I have a personal heater..." NOW I WANT IT OFF! I'll trade the heater for my old body!

My waist, a straight line under my chin, people smiling at me (it's a proven fact-people are just plain nicer to you when you're in shape), cute clothes on my body...

Haha!

One sammich I never tried but was told to. One pile of barf avoided. Oh yeah!

That's awesome! Congrats! I was just thinking about how it seems like stretch marks are more noticable on bigger women...I wasn't sure if it was because they have more or if it really does diminish with weight loss. Of course I should've specified that I realize they never FULLY go away...which is okay, I just am sick of…

Oh, also....Diet Swiss Miss-25 cal/packet!! It tastes pretty similar to the real thing! You could even add fat free redi whip or a few marshmallows (naturally fat free) if you wanted!
-
I'm struggling with that as well...something that is helping me is I just don't have ANY...and tell myself that on sunday night (which is my 'friday' of my weird work week) that I can go buy one packet of skinny cow clusters (120 cal--AMAZING, taste like Snickers mixed with Kit Kat!) and I really savor it. I don't chow…

YUM! I love cabbage anything! Will add this to my 'to cook' list, thanks!

Bump! I usually just throw whatever seasonings on frozen breasts (usually rosemary, oregano, salt, pepper, maybe a bit o' paprika, onion powder, garlic powder...) but it gets boring, fast!
-
Super inspiration! I am starting at 166 and want to get down to 120-125. :D You look awesome!

Yep! If I try to eat anything 'heavy' after going too long without food, I seriously regret it. This is how intermittent fasting works (some form of not eating for x amount of hours, having a "window" of eating-in case you didn't know). I tried it for a month, was starting to lose weight rapidly, but it was hard to keep up…

I use ACV for acid reflux. It burns your throat a bit, so I chug water immediatly afterwards. But seriously, the second it's down, acid reflux-gone! :D

It's debatable. It's high in cholestrol and fat, sure, but I've read it contains the 'good' sort of fat our bodies need. Plus it tastes pretty good. :D I think if you're on an otherwise healthy diet, eggs-yolk and all-can be included in that.

It is hard! I have an almost 2 year old daughter, and she eats pretty healthy, but I have found the best solution to 'treats' is to only buy her a small pack of Pocky or Fig Newtons. I only give it to her like once a month or 2 weeks or so, so she understands those things are treats that we shouldn't have all the time.…

Go to your doctor-but here's a couple tips: Calcium+VIt D on top of my multivits have improved my hair and nail growth. I lost a bit of hair during pregnancy, and now it's almost back to its ultra-thickness. Also, even if you aren't pregnant, try prenatal vitamins (advice came from a few nurses I work with).

I have this problem often, and I find if I limit my carbs (most keep you going back for more more more-rolls, chips, crackers, pasta....) and eat more 'heavy' healthy foods-apples, meat of some sort (tuna and chicken are good) it's not as bad. Try drinking hot tea or even hot broth-your body responds to hot foods a lot…

WOW! Way to go!

Avocado, bananas, a bit of whole wheat pasta with olive oil?

HAHA

Thanks for the tip! So far I haven't found any jerks, but I'll keep my eyes out O.O

Thanks a lot! I'll be checking these out for sure. Those muffins sound really good!

Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor :D Just got it for Christmas. It's AMAZING and surprisingly not that big, but it sure gets a lot of juice out. I can throw in an entire apple-core, peel, everything-and gets a decent amount of juice!

Thanks! I googled low glycemic fruits-had no idea canteloupe was low! That's exciting!

Impressive! And soo true. I'm trying to give up processed sugar all together, everytime I say, "Oh, I'll just have one fun-size bar" if there's a bowl of it at work, nope. Never works. Especially when someone sees you and says, "Oh have you tried the ___ kind? Those are the best!" I'm going to start claiming chocolate…

LOL

Cold turkey, huh? It's so weird. I quit smoking a few years ago, cold turkey, no major problems. I mean, it was hard, but I suppose I just replaced it with chocolate. 40 pounds later... I find myself having the same issue with a different addiction! Oh the irony...
-
So sorry everyone!! I don't know why I didn't catch that myself!!
-
I have an issue with keeping focused as well. My boyfriend got me some Fitdeck cards for Christmas. Each card has a exercise, you just shuffle and pick as many as you like at random and walla! A new workout every day!

I remember reading a blog last year from a woman who lost a LOOOT of weight using Wii Fit alone. She said her goal wasn't even to lose weight-she was just having fun! If I find the link I'll post it here...I love Wii Fit because I'm a gamer and like seeing my scores, but I haven't used it in a while. DDR, while not really…
