My mini goal is to just lose the next 5 pounds. I find saying I have 25 to go is overwhelming so I break it down into 5 pound chunks. It's been working so far. I've been at this for a long time. Last time I lost 30 pounds and it took 7 years to put 8 back on.

The best feeling I had when I went to try on clothes in the store and I was down a size. I am having a blast buying new ones but I can't get too carried away because I have 30 pounds more to go to my goal. Congrats on the accomplishment. I can think of worse things than clothes shopping :) Linda

To lose the weight all I did was log all my food here and watched my portions. I read labels and whatever the serving size was that is all I have. Because I am diabetic I aim for about 30 carbs per meal (that helps keep my numbers in range). I attempt to eat between 5 and 7 servings of fruits and vegetables. Even being…
