I've tried this and it worked. However, the fasting days were so tough I gave up.

I've done WW in the past. It worked well for me at first and I liked it. However, after several months and a new job - which took me away from the old center - I lost enthusiasm. Somehow MFP is working better for me now. WW is a good program, but if MFP works, I'm sticking with it. Plus MFP is free.

Maybe we can have a group? I'm 5'5" and my first goal is to lose 10 lbs, ultimately would be good to lose 20 lbs. I also like to run! My immediate goal is to track my food for 30 out of the 31 days in December.

My goal is to track food 30 days out of the 31 in December. Also to run 3x a week and do weights 3x a week. And to be nice to myself and check in to fitness blogs and this site a lot, so I interact with a supportive community
