i know exactly what you mean! i've had colds, sinus attacks that always lead to bronchitis which in turn keeps me from working out since it's hard to breathe. then i would have to build my stamina back up again & again. it was very discouraging. i talked to my MD & asked her why. even though we are strengthening our…

i agree with there are debates on both sides of this matter. i just listen to my MD who says, "eat healthy & exercise". not a difficult concept, just make better choices & listen to YOUR body (it will tell you what to do).

alarm goes off, i roll outta bed, take care of the AM necessity while getting workout clothes on, bottle of water & get on elliptical. by the time i'm done with my workout, i'm fully awake. the payoff is your body's endorphins kick in early & it makes your WHOLE day great! good luck on your challenge

a program i was on before didn't give you "reward calories" & most days i was fine because we had 4 days of 1200 & 3 of 1400 calories. however, i did at first eat what i earned from exercise but then decided i wasn't going to partake of the "reward" anymore unless i was having a piece of b-day cake, etc.

When my kids were 7, 5 & 3, i used to wake up @ 5:30 am, roll out of bed, get my water & go exercise for 45 minutes. then get everyone up, take my shower while they were getting dressed, make breakfast for everyone & head out to drop kids & off to work. It was actually nice to get up earlier than the kids...gave me "me…
