Good Morning Katie, Before you buy an expensive piece of equipment, spend some time trying it out. Finding something that doesn't stress you out and you can commit to - is a difficult decision. What I do is this... After knee surgery, the recumbent bike was part of my rehab. I just really liked doing it (Many find it…

i agree with Smackadoodle's definition. But cookies should be a food group  For me I still struggle with portion size.
-
And for me it was the opposite...traded in my upright and love my recumbent. So the advice to try them out is the best because it is such a personal choice. Also, I agree invest in a good seat your bottom will thank you.

And for me it is some kind of popsicle...they have so many varietes. This week I bought two -coconut and blueberry. And Smart Ones frozen dessert , the little individual portions are really yummy.

Ginny, I bet that baby boosted your day. So nice to have family close by. The sleeping thing can be an issue for me also. I ordered some stretching videos from Collage and they seem to help. The jury is still out on the 1500. I stepped on the scale and nothing!!! I see her again in a month and maybe I will just keep away…

Well Ladies I am in the same place. I am exercising more with DVDs and walking and biking. (got my videost mostly from Collage videos.)But I am still not getting any great results. My Health person upped my calories to 1500 and after a week my scale still hasn't moved. Trying hard not to get bummed and this site really…

Good Morning. I usually work with only cotton. I have not purchased from E-Bay but have from Keepsake Quilting. And was happy with my purchases. I am sort of spoiled since there is a quilt shop in town and 2 more within a 20 minute drive. Tee shirt quilts are very popular and I see many around but I agree with other group…

Thanks...can never have enough snack ideas.
-
Brilliant...I will be trying this!!! Thanks for sharing.

You got that = today is a new day. My husband's birthday is today and so tonight it is Mexican. Tomorrow it is a family picnic. I will probably be sounding like you on Monday morning. Take care...we can do it.

K. Having salmon tonight - I basically use similar seasonings, except forgot the dill and will use thyme. I make it in an aluminum pouch, so no clean up  and that is one of my major goals. M.

To All you Brits....I think Andy Murray did an awesome job today!!! Maybe next year. Is there a lo cal Pimms to toast him? Cheers to all of you from across the pond. :)

I kind of cheated. Used Birds Eye, Ultimate Southwest Blend. Steamed package and when cooled added avocado, cheese and dash of dressing. There was 4 servings in package and 2/3 cup only 90 calories, so adding leftovers was easy.

How about a smoothie. I had one this morning. Put in blender, fruit serving, greek yogurt, some kale and ice and water. Was able to sip it and enjoy it . I, also, am not a breakfast person but it is impt. to fuel yourself consistently. I still feel full and it is almost 1 o'clock. You can go to search and ask for breakfast…

Enjoy your dinner out tonight. If you are going to big place, sometimes they post calories on line. I often plan ahead by checking out lunch/dinner choices before I go.
-
Salad looks yummy. Will definitely be making this one.

Absolutely, we can do it. Just as we carefully plan our quilts...we can plan our diet and exercise. LOVE to have other quilter friends. So excited to see this group started.
