I exercise for about an hour (sometimes more) 6 days a week.

Fat comes off from all over your body equally, we just carry more fat in certain areas. When I first started back up I did an hour on the elliptical 5 days a week. It was low impact and I burned quite a bit of calories doing it. Good luck!

Do you go to the beach often? Go to the beach, look around, and take note. There are very few swimsuit model bodies out there. I think you should wear it. You don't look bad at all. I think I started MFP when I was about 212 but I think I was 220 at my heaviest. I basically got on the elliptical at the gym and stayed on it for an hour most days of the week. I got better at it and got bored, so I started to walk/jog a 5 mile route near my house. Slowly I incorporated more jogging. Now I run the 5 miles…

If it were me, I'd be drinking a ton of water and exercising like crazy. What are you doing still on the internet? Go exercise! :tongue: Sounds like you just need a little extra breathing room. You can do it!

I never had a problem with soda. I prefer beer and wine. Congrats on cutting soda out of your diet though. An accomplishment is an accomplishment. :smile:

I usually run in 2 or 3 races a year because they're fun to participate in... And I like the shirts :laugh: . 5K (Warrior Dash), 8K, 10K, and Quarter are races I've done. This year I did one 8K for fun but I'd like to do a half marathon this year as well. I run 5 miles 3 times a week though as part of my regular workout…

I think "fat" comes in different sizes, so to me, it depends on body composition and overall physical fitness.

You are doing great so far. Keep it up! 6lbs in one week! Wow! I know you want to lose more but keep in mind, it is recommended to lose between 2-3lbs a week so anything extra is BONUS and you shouldn't feel bad about it. If you are not used to exercise, I would focus on getting consistant with the diet before adding any…
