  • I started the same way. There is a 3 mile course I run near where I live, and I started by just running as much as I could. I told myself "make it to that next telephone pole". I eventually told myself "I'm going to run this today and not stop". After about 10-15 runs I was able to run the whole thing at 6mph. The c2 5k…
  • I'm not much of a cyclist, the farthest I've gone at once was 26 miles. I can only imagine that doing more long rides will get you further, as with most exercises. Also, make sure you stay very well hydrated and fueled. Good job and good luck! 40 miles is far!
  • I buy the 0% Fage. I personally think the taste and texture are perfectly fine. Buy both and try them...
  • I love my garmin forerunner 210. Its never failed me, plus its cute and i can wear it as a normal watch.
  • Call me maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen
  • bridal sizes are small. I am a 12 in bridal and normally an 8. Dont let it bother you, as long as you look good size doesn't matter. Do 30 day shred or something to get toned arms/shoulders and you'll be fine.
  • My last TOM I weighed in at 149 one morning(I thought it HAD to be my food choices or something)!! I am now back to where I was plateaued at 144. That is the most I've ever seen the scale go up for me during that time, but it all came back off to normal after. I wouldn't be worried!
  • If that is the case then I am relieved, I would like some people to look at my diary and let me know if they see anything wrong with stuff I consistently eat. I have a huge sweet tooth and some days I can't resist having a chocolate vitatop, fiber bar, and weight watchers ice cream. Is chocolate that bad for bellies even…
  • btw I've been plateaued at 144 lbs for like a month. I tried going down to 1200 cals again and got down to 142 one morning, but 1200 cals is hard for me to stick with, especially when I exercise, I get so hungry some days!
  • I rarely see these threads for 5'6" ladies! I'm 5'6 SW: 182 at highest (172 when starting mfp) CW: 144 GW: 135 Right now I'm holding almost all my weight in my stomach, gahhh! wish it would just come off from there! I'm perfectly happy with the rest of my body. The pic posted in the thread, she looks great at 160 but I…
  • same thing happened to me today. yesterday was my planned cheat day, today i ended up going over as well. i figure a new week is starting soon and im going to do good!
  • This is kind of a calorie counting website. I'm not a slave to food, it probably takes me 5 minutes or less total to log all my food for the day. Calorie counting is all that's worked for me my entire life. Don't knock it, different things work for different people.
  • that is awesome! i love the graph - wish i woulda kept track like that.
  • I had a veggie burrito today from a taco shop. They used to be my go to meal. I hadn't had one since November. I didn't really enjoy it like I used to...
  • If neither of you want to move, find someone local. You cant be mad at him, and he cant be mad at you for not wanting to up root. Personally I think the one with the job should stay put, its too hard to find jobs these days. Also, just because he has "less" family than you doesn't mean they're just as important.
  • I started at 182, i plateued at 153, 150, and 148.5 for 2-3 weeks each. Im 5'6. I assume its different for everyone. If youre closer to your goal weight itll be harder to get it off.
  • i guess im lucky! lol... i might not like it as much if it made my pee smell bad... usually only affects me for 12 hours or so
  • its great in omlettes, just make it soft first. as for the pee it must affect people differently... makes mine smell like flowers.
  • I've never seen 1/2 avocado to be 50 cal... its 120 cal per 1/2 avocado.
  • 569 sounds very high, depending on how much you weigh. My fitness pal has been more accurate for me than any work out equipment reading. I use a HRM to get the most accurate reading and today MFP said my jog burned 297 cals and my HRM said 296. usually MFP and my HRM are within 20-50 calories. The workout equipment has…
  • I have a garmin forerunner 210 and i love it.
  • I made a variation of these tonight. They were very good. I used 50 cal corn tortillas (couldnt find any 40 cal). I also cooked the chicken on my george foreman, and shredded the chicken instead of cubing. I didnt have any ranch dip but I put a little cottage cheese. YUM
  • see if you can pick out the main caloric ingredients and track it that way.
  • I just ate cottage cheese(80cal/.5 cup) with sugar free strawberry preserves (only 10 cal/tbsp). It tastes really good, it would be perfect for breakfast.
  • if they want to make snarky comments to you, make snarky comments back and maybe they will shut up so you can enjoy your family time.
  • I did day 14 yesterday. I've taken 3 days off in between the 14 days of doing 30ds (2 of which I went to the gym and did cardio/strength there). I've been climbing my way up and started level 3 two days ago (and I'll probably go back and do level 1 and 2 a couple times in between level 3 days). It DEFINITELY gets easier as…
  • I wouldn't mention that you're on a diet before the date. Just go and enjoy yourself. If it's a restaurant, order something healthy. If he cooks, enjoy the food in smaller portions. If you talk about how you're on a diet he might take that as you not being happy with yourself and not being confident, or as a cry for…
