  • Focus on your goal. Slow weight loss will be easier to maintain, and you'll be less likely to binge. Wish you the best!
  • I don't really do a cheat day, simply because for me that could get out of hand...lol. I prefer to strictly adhere to my diet during the week, and allow myself some extra calories on the weekend to enjoy myself. It's really all about balance!!!
  • This may not help at all, but it helped me. You can't look at it like a "diet", but instead, a lifestyle change. Be determined to not only eat healthy, but live a healthy life in general. Surround yourself with people that will help you reach your goals, not with people that will discourage or tempt you. Encourage others…

Typically in order to maintain the muscle mass you have, you should try to consume 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, 1/4 a gram of fat per…

  • CONGRATS! That is something to be proud of. Losing a few pounds is a piece of cake, but it takes a lot of determination to consistently lose weight for a year. Keep it up!!
  • This is pretty much on point. Personally I take in roughly 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, not necessarily LEAN body weight, just weight in general. I weigh 165 right now, so I shoot for 165 grams. To me that's the easiest way to figure it.
  • The bottom line is pick a time that you will consistently stick with. I'm an early riser, my favourite time of day to run is around 5:00AM but everyone's internal clock is different. [/quote] I agree with the statement abovet. Personally, I love workout in the morning because of the way it makes me feel the rest of the…
