My first half was this past Sunday in VA Beach (The Shamrock). I have trained really hard and ran the whole 13.1 miles. Official time was 2:33:14 :) My next half is May 20th in Fredericksburg VA (Marine half) and then I am doing the Richmond Va half on Nov 10th. Yes..I am addicted to longer distance :)

Good job! I ran my first half on Sunday at Va Beach! Ran the whole 13.1 miles! At mile 8 I told myself it was just an 8k from here..lol. At mile 10...I said..its just a 5k from here! lol. I finished in 2:33:14 :) Next half is in 2 months :)

2000 calories....not over 1300...but 2000 in general Saturday. I finished the half in 2:33:14 (official chip time) and ran the entire thing! It was amazing! I weigh in every morning..same time...after using the potty before putting anything in my mouth. It keeps me on track..if I lose..I am thrilled. My first half is in VA Beach in 9 days! I did my last long run this Sunday...11.2 in 2:07:46. I have a goal of 2:45 as well. And yeah..the not throwing up thing is a given :)

age 33 sw 214.6 cw 141.8 gw 137.0 ugw 133.0 I am at 1300....usually net 1270ish on rest days...and i eat about half my exercise cals. I run 3 days a week..2 short runs (4-5 miles each) and 1 long run (8-10 miles).

Diet coke...is the breakfast of champions :) I have about 20 oz a day...and 80 oz of water a day. It balances out..lol

I went straight from an 8k to a half...which is in 17 days! I just run the best I can for me. Competing against nothing and noone else. Dress like its 15 degrees warmer. If youre comfortable at the start..youre overdressed. Im still a newbie though :)
