I agree with find a simlar type restaurant and guestimate. Ask questions about your food..."how is this prepared", "do you put butter/oil in blah blah blah". That will make it easier to make healthy choices as well as guess how to put it in your food diary. I eat tons of places with no nutrition info, simply because chain…

I work out every day at lunch. 45 min workout with 15 min changing clothes/cleaning up on either side. Occasionally I also do after work classes, etc, but the lunchtime workout is a constant.

For those of you who posted the link to mybodygallery...thanks! In my head I'm so much bigger but when I put in my info pics of girls come up who strangely look like me in photos, imagine that! It's hard to change the image of yourself in your mind after you lose weight (at least for me, anyway).

Everyone is built differently. I'm 5'7" and my weight fluctuates between about 138-141lbs. I'm approx a size 6 and usually wear a small.

I go to the farmer's market weekly to stock up on inexpensive fresh fruits and veggies. I incorporate beans, lentils, and tofu for protein.

Scrambled tofu is yummy! You can also do yummy vegan smoothies that are filling and high protein (vegan yogurt, fresh fruit, soy or almond milk, etc etc. I also like to add raw oats, cinnamon, and flax sometimes).

It happened overnight, it's either fluid or food still in your system. Could be related to your cycle. It's not fat or muscle, that doesn't happen overnight.

Definitely.

Something that is a uniform size like chips is easy, two halves equal a whole. In something like mixed nuts, 32 pcs is an average. Different types of nuts are different sizes. Thirty-two cashews is higher in calories than 32 peanuts. So the calorie level is based on the "average" mix. In that case, I'd weigh it if you can.

Even if they aren't cooked in any fat, cooked veggies are more calories for the simple fact that they are lower in water content and are now "concentrated". You can test it. Measure out a cup of raw baby carrots, cook them, then measure them again. They will be much less than a cup, probably more like 1/2 cup. And on to…

You sound like me, I have similar tastes, this all sounds great to me!

I like mine sweet or savory. For savory I like it with salad (instead of or with very little dressing) or with salsa and chips, and for sweet I usually just have it with fruit.

I HIGHLY recommend seeing a Registered Dietitian, one who specializes or has lots of experience with GF diets if possible.

It depends on where you are now. Have you had a bod pod done?

My aunt made this a couple weeks ago and it was good. It was a bit salty but had very good flavor and is low cal. I will probably either use large chicken breasts or slightly reduce the seasoning to lower the sodium content when I make it.

I like the new pink one. The color is great on your skin tone and the cut and style of it is quite flattering on your figure. You go girl!

Some proteins are like this, but not all of them. You can check the package to see if it's temperature sensitive. ^^This. I love oats in my smoothies! With cinnamon!

My favorite band is Static-X. Anything by them in a running win.

The good news is that taste for salt is a learned taste, so just give it some time and you can learn to prefer lower sodium foods. Sea salt is still salt. Gram for gram it has the same sodium as table salt. Make sure you get things like garlic powder instead of garlic salt. There are tons of salt free spices/herbs/blends…

MFP is a great place to make friends and create a good support system. But remember, true and consistent motivation comes from YOU! :-) Good luck!

I allow myself "treat" foods almost daily in small portions. Otherwise I'd go nuts and either a) overindulge when I have it, or b) I eat way too many calories in other foods trying to make up for avoiding eating what I really want. I work it into my calorie allowance.

Strength training increases your metabolism to help you burn more and keep weight off in the long run. Plus, it helps shape that body as the fat falls off :-)

I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want..... great, now that's gonna be stuck in my head all day >.>

This isn't a recipe but a new salad dressing I found I'm totally in love with - Bolthouse Farms Honey Mustard Yogurt Dressing. It is only 45 calories for 2 tbsp and tastes GOOD, unlike a lot of light dressings. Plus, it doesn't have a bunch of weird stuff added to it.

Lots of fresh seasonal fruits and veggies apple with PB2 hard boiled egg string cheese In the afternoon when I'm at work to satisfy the 3 pm munchies I'll often have a protein/energy bar and a cup of coffee (1/2 decaf) ...lots more, can't think...
