Sounds like you did a great job yesterday!! I yelled at my husband when he asked if I went to the gym. I could barely get myself upstairs to bed :( I did have four mini milky ways and was over my calories for the day but still around 1500... Today is a new day and I feel good right now so going upstairs to do an…

I am with you!! I hate that TOM sends me so off course. I am so tired today and have such a headache that any thought of exercise is out of the question. I'm hungry all day so just trying to make "better" choices. I had a bowl of honey nut cheerios instead of any chocolate that I could find. Hopefully I can get through the…

Happy Wednesday! Tuesday challenge: Food--over on calories (but not too much) I've been so hungry for the past few days too. Not sure why! Cardio: made excuses for not going for walk even though it was 60 degrees out  Strength: did strength test at gym and it showed some improvement. I am really struggling with…

Welcome! I've been on here for about a month and it's kept me pretty motivated. I am similar to you... like to read and relatively lazy so increasing my exercise has/is a huge challenge! Anyone who wants encouragement and motivation...add me!

Question: Yesterday was my weigh in day with my nutritionist but I've been having some TOM issues that have cleared up so decided to check my weight today and I was down another pound and a half. Is it "cheating" to record that weight as well? I have gained and lost the same two and a half pounds since I started a month…

Thank you Donna!! I am loving this challenge. It helps to read what you all are going through so I know I'm not alone! I lost 2.5 pounds this week so, hopefully something is working! I really need to start doing the challenges though... Tomorrow is a new day :)

Wednesday's mini challenge: Oops...didn't track salt but also didn't add any to my food and I don't really eat pre packaged stuff. Cardio--big day for me: went to gym and did treadmill (which I hate) before I had breakfast then did another 15 minutes of video on demand (cardio-Biggest Loser video). That was actually fun…

Day one of November challenge: Food: under on calories, carbs and fat  ; a little over on protein (is that ok?) (This was my first goal since I think I have been under estimating in my numbers.) Exercise: circuit training this morning but no big cardio :frown: Will try to do my sit-ups tonight. Have a great night…

Yes...I've been there. In my mind I look a certain way, or I could look in the mirror and turn different ways to look more flattering but seeing myself in pictures is painful. I have to use that as motivation now and not give up! However, DO NOT get discouraged! Life is a journey and all you can do is learn and start…

I see that this challenge started two weeks ago but this sounds like a group that would work for me...is it too late? If not... My name is Allie, from MA and I joined MFP as a way to keep track of my calories because I started working with a nutritionist. I REALLY need help with motivation and staying on track and everyone…

I love yoga too! However, people have been telling me that it doesn't help in losing weight. Are there certain "types" of yoga that will support weight loss. I really do NOT like cardio that is boring (walking on treadmill, runninr, etc).
