There's also some freebie videos available via YouTube. You can find a few different exercises for upper body, lower body, and core exercises - about 12-16 things total ... then do 10-15 reps per set, 2-3 sets of each, you can get a good strength-workout pretty quickly!

I'm with you there... hoping the lens replacement technique gets more accepted and SOON - they've been using it to treat cataracts for years, how about giving us nearly-blind folks some help, too? :)

*uurp. Well... thanks for that appetite suppressant, CG! :D

Yep! Congratulations! Those little boosts go a long way, don't they!

IN__ ... Clearly I & N, but then the T-F and P-J are pretty balanced. Figures, I never have really fit into one box or another :D I'm a software developer/analyst - so it works for me. I do design then build, then train -- jumping back and forth across the "fences"

As well you should be! Nice work!

No problem - it's nothing to do with "smart" - you just hadn't seen it before :) Good luck!

First, upload the photo first to a web-host of some sort, like Photobucket. Once you have its URL, the img statement should work.

I guess we all get to do the chicken dance at half-time?

I was working out with my trainer and we moved to a new exercise - stand with my back to the machine, with a rope attached to the weight/pullley system, and repeatedly pull it forward and back between my legs. I got through the session but laughed about it with my friends for days... when I got back, I told the PT what it…

Avoid southwestern. They are hateful to people more than a size 2. We flew American last summer. I weighed 300 (5'2") and most of it in my middle and butt. I had to use a seatbelt extender (ask the flight attendant as you board, they'll bring it to you) and raise the arm of the seat next to me. It was occupied by my…

Congratulations - such hard work and dedication is truly inspiring!

That is brilliant. Drop him, block him, cut him completely out. He's an energy-drainer, and you've got other more important things to spend your energy on! Do it! Do it now!

I did a little survey of others doing 30DS and found it burns around 140-150 calories. If your deadline is in July, that's about 5 months -- at 1.5 lbs a week you could do it ... just need to find some additional exercise (bike, perhaps) to add to the 30DS that burns a bit more calories.

I'm glad you're back in there, swinging away at it! Thanks for chiming in - I thought it was only me that felt that way! It's sad how often I let fear of other's opinions keep me from trying some really good things. Odds are that no one else in the room is even paying the slightest attention - they may even be thinking…

On dear, this makes me so sad. I'm so sorry you're in this situation because it eats at you from the inside out. I'm guessing that before you started your venture into health that most everything that went on in your home (that involves both of you) has been centered around what he wants. The idea that he demands that you…

Do any of you use an HRM and if so, what kind of numbers do you get? I was using MFP's "Circuit Training, General" for 20 minutes which estimates 350 or 390 cals burned. My HRM said 140 tonight, which seemed AWFULLY low for as hard as I was breathing and sweating! Just curious what you all are seeing?

I've got a running blog about it... I'm only on Day 2, Level 1 - just getting going! I'm using 30DS in between workouts with personal trainer and planning a day off to rest my thighs. Stupid lunges ;)
-
That's adorable :)

3.53 Mon 2.06 Tue 3.16 Wed 8.75 so far this week (LOVE my Fitbit and all the numbers it gives me!) Knees are really hurting today, though, so today will probably be low... (stupid lunges!)

That's a good boost for the spirits! Hope you are back in the groove soon!

Today I'm more like Pacman - complete with whocka-whocka-whocka sound effects. Thankfully I'm surrounded by healthy snacks, but it's still eating when I'm not hungry. *sigh.

Cognitive therapy - highly highly highly recommended in. Super short version: analyze the panic-inducing thought and measure - how likely is this thing to actually happen... what could be the consequences - and what are the odds of those. It's easy to immediately go worst-case scenario when the panic attack starts ...…

I'm starting the 30DS tonight. Nervous, but excited, too!
