  • I am doing day 3, level 1 tonight. I can't do all of the jumping jacks, I do what I can. I follow Anita and modify my push ups and still can't do them all. I am recording my progress and hope to look back and laugh at this one day. BUT.....I do sweat a lot, I feel more energetic afterward too.
  • I couldn't complete the first set either, which will be amazing in the future when we look back and laugh at how far we have come.
  • I'm in! I am officially off the couch now. I started last night, well sorta. I did as much as I couild I'm embarassed to say I didn't make it more than 15 minutes. I didn't have weights so I used cans of peas. I will try to complete the DVD tonight, thats my goal. And I will buy some 2LB or 3 LB weights. Yeah, thanks for…
  • I know you are in the UK, but here in Texas we can buy ketchup that is sweetened with agave. Agave, in my opinion, is way better than white sugar. Plus, the amount ketchup has in it compared to candy or cakes is not that much anyway. Its better than giving up ketchup!!!!
  • Nicely articulated!!! I would wonder if some of those men who are knocking GC or RK are buying protein drinks and powders and taking other supplements? I don't judge them for what works for them, I just ask the same in return.
  • I totally agree, to each their own. I try not to judge others but instead applaud what works for them. THanks for your support. I'm glad these work for you as well. I noitced a marked difference for myself and if or when they no longer work, I will quit taking them.
  • Because I wake up at 5:30am, I go to bed early which means I cannot eat late either. I try not to eat past 6:30pm. For me, even if I stay below my calorie count I will gain weight when I eat late. Probably because I'm not exercising, I will take some responsibility in that. But thats just what works for me.
  • I have the Vitamix and LOVE it, we use it everyday. Their raw vegan "tortilla" soup is fantastic. My kids make ice cream out of frozen fruits and coconut milk all the time. Two ingredients, fantastic for them and they enjoy it. My husband, an omnivore, likes to make margaritas with it. THere are some great raw vegan…
  • They worked for me too. I like the extra energy they give me. Glad you too found something that works for you.
  • I like to live by the motto "to each their own" which means I like to think that people will need to do what works for them and they don't need me or anyone else judging what they do or don't do. You seem to be really open too and not judgemetn on whether good or bad, that it may have worked or may have been placebo for…
  • jaw dropping impressiveness. WOW, congratulations. You are a true inspiration.
  • It's not easy, thats for sure, but watching for a while will give you ideas for healthier sugar alternatives (when craving something sweet)
  • I'm doing no refined sugars, no processed sugars. I do allow myself some agave, honey or pure maple syrup since it's a healthier carb/fat.
  • I read both articles, they both had good infomation and will help me when I take measurements next. Thank you!!
  • Friend request sent! Welcome to MFP
  • Your weight x (Times) 12 = ___. minus 500 calories to drop 1 lb a week, minus 1000 calories to drop 2 pounds a week.
  • Yeah, way to go!!! We can encourage each other!!
  • I just joined the group so I'm a little behind, but I accept the challenge, starting with lunch today (I already had my breakfast wihich probably isn't "clean" since I had bacon.)
  • feel free to add me. I was on MFP last year and lost a lot of weight but gained a lot back when I got off of MFP and away from healthier eating. I'm back and can use more friends too.
  • There are a lot of good ideas listed above mine. When I reach a plateau I have what I refer to an "Apple Day". All apples, cooked, boiled, raw anyway I can all day long, Just apples, applesauce etc. It seems to get me off my plataueu and then I'm back doing my routine and it works again for me. Thats just what works for…
  • I don't eat gluten free per se, but I do enjoy a lot of vegan and you can add me

  • Thank you eMirror!!
  • I take garcinia camogia and raspberry ketones, they don't magically make weight fall off but they do give me energy that I didn't have before and they suppress my appetite. You will get conflicting opinions on here and conflicting resources all claiming to be the better advice. I live by the "do what feels best in your…
  • I toast a multi-grain waffle and top it with blueberries and a tablespoon of cool whip. ( I prefer frozen bluberries because when you defrost them they have a natural liquid that replaces sugary syrup. )
  • I have the same goal as you...... to drop 40 pounds before I turn 50. Please feel free to add me as a friend, if you want to.
  • If you've logged in for 15 days in a row, give yourself that much credit, that is doing something. I find that if I log in everyday I tend to lose more weight because I'm keeping myself accountable. If thats all you do, its a great start and eventually you may have the energy to take one more step. I started taking…
