Mine try to sit on me when I do that stuff. They think that's even more funny than just watching.

I love my husband's steely blue eyes  I also love his perfectionism. At times it can get annoying, but I always know he does his best at any project he takes on, and it means he is good at cleaning up after himself. It is also part of the way he shows his love for his family in taking the best care of us that he can.

Loving the variety of ideas so far! Thanks everyone, and keep 'em coming

I've been using Avon Skin So Soft Perfecting Oil, and have noticed significant improvement on my stretch mark covered belly.

I'd rather hear fit, buff, lean, athletic, and a host of other adjectives over skinny, but I try to take peoples' comments as kindly as possible. I agree that to me, skinny means underweight with no curves or muscle, and I don't want to be that. For the record, Bry, you have a rockin' hourglass figure. I'm 5'4", and…

I have 2 babies - both by c-section. First was "emergency" after 32 hours of labor. I was fully dialated, and pushed for 2 hours, but with each contraction he progressed, then slid back when it was over. Turns out he had the cord wrapped around his neck twice. He was literally at the end of his rope and couldn't move any…

I looked at your diary, and you do have about 1000 calories left for the day. Add in the cake and pasta, and see what it comes to. Depending on your goals, you can be over your calories by 500 calories (if you're set to a 1 lb per week loss), and not do any damage - you're just eating maintenance for the day. I agree with…

In my dreams, I'd love to be a back up performer - dancer or singer. I say back up because I don't want to be in the tabloids like a star is. In my current life, I'd be a stay at home mom. I love my kids, and hate leaving them with daycare all day. In reality, I have my dream job. For an IT person, it's pretty cool to be…

You look great, and show that my goal is possible. I'm very similar. After giving birth, I was around 165. I know that's less than some people's goal weight, but I've always been active and somewhat small, so I wasn't happy there. After my first pregnancy I got down to 132. That's my first goal for now (still about 10 lbs…

I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk instead of creamers. I think it's creamier than skim milk, and fewer calories (only 40 cal. in an entire 8 oz.). I like my coffee sweet, so I usually also add some stevia or sugar-free flavored syrup (made with Splenda).

All you really need to trim is the bottom ends off, but I personally don't like the heads, so I cut them off too. I like to steam or boil it on my cooktop, then add some butter and serve. I've also seen it grilled, but haven't been successful when I tried to make it that way. Instead of butter, you could also add lemon or…

We use venison just like beef. We have ground venison that we use like hamburger in spaghetti sauce, chili, tacos, burgers, etc. With the steaks/chops, we've sliced it to make fajitas, cubed and put into chili or sauces, grilled and sliced into small steaks. One of my favorites is to top the chops with galic salt and lots…

I do. In fact, I had 2 kiwis for lunch with the skin. I've heard it contains most or all of the fiber in the fruit, which is the main reason I started eating it that way. The fuzz takes a little adjusting to get used to, but no biggie for me. I just make sure to wash them well, slice, and eat.

The only one I'd be interested in seeing is Toby Keith, but there's a lot of other stuff... Alice Cooper, Stevie Nicks, Styx, Def Lepard, Poison, Buckcherry, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Puddle of Mudd, Jeff Bridges, John Fogerty.

I'm from South Dakota, and the rally generates a lot of income for our state, so I'm a fan. We get a lot of bike traffic through our town (people on the way to and from the rally). I've never been, but have heard stories  It's definitely an experience! I've heard that a lot of celebrities attend, including Jay Leno…

How do you suggest calculating the minimum amount of each macro? Do you suggest a certain ratio? or something along the lines of 1g protein per lb of lean body mass?

I've been looking at this too. Here's a review I found. They review several products, so I think it's a legit site, even though there are ads all over it. http://www.hairremoverreviews.com/ I'd love to hear from someone that actually uses it.

When I get feelings like this, I ask myself, "Would I trade my entire life for their entire life?" When I think about it, everyone has struggles, and pasts that contribute to who they are today. I have a friend who is beautiful, but was abused as a child. Would I trade my loving parents and family that I'm so close to for…

I did about the same thing last round. I walked about 30 minutes durning my lunch break, and added in the DVD. If the 3's ever start feeling easy, step up to 5's. In my experience, it's better to use heavier weights, and go a little slower or miss a rep or two, than to not fully challenge yourself. Stick with it, and I…

Proper form is important. When you do squats and lunges, it's important not to let you knees go past your toes. Jillian says it in the DVD, but doesn't stress form as much as other DVD instructors. These are pretty basic, standard moves, and not over used (since the whole workout is only 25 min). I'd say poor form would be…

One word... Pregnancy. I will never be able to wear low-rise jeans again, and one pair that I absolutely loved (more of a mid-rise) still gives me a huge muffin-top when I button them. Granted, I still have about 10lbs to get to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I just bought a different pair of jeans in the same size, from the…

Agreed! I'll take this heat and humidity any day over the blizzards and -50 degree temps! I'm kind of hoping winter will stick with the trend and be warmer than normal too *crosses fingers*

I'm in SD, but lived in Fargo for about 8 years. We've got bad weather here too, but I keep hearing from friends about hanging out in the basement bathroom at 3am, waiting out tornado warnings. The weather is ridiculous this summer!! I feel your pain

Used to work with a guy named Harry Boner. Went to high school with Jeremy Seeman... not so bad, but his middle name was Scott. If you said it too fast it sounded like Jeremy's got seeman. If I had a last name like either of these, I would think long and hard when picking a kid's name. Also worked in a bank call center,…

We like to take about 1 serving of Lay's Kettle Cooked Jalapeno chips, crush them, and press onto the fish so it's kind of breaded. Sprinkle with a little garlic salt and bake. We can usually make 4-5 filets with one serving of chips, so you're really only getting an extra 30-40 calories by adding the chips, and it tastes…

No need to be nervous. It's so easy. There are a few more accurate ways to test your body fat, but this is by far the best when you look at the cost. You should get a print out of your results when you're all done, and the info can be eye-opening. It's a great tool to have, and one more way to measure your success. Good…

You look great! I see a big difference in your face too.

Got this from a friend, and it isn't inherently healthy, but I added some modifications that could be done to make it better. Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread 3 eggs 1 c oil 2 c brown sugar 3 c grated zucchini 3 tsp vanilla 3 c flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder 3 tsp cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg ½ c chopped…

Personally, I try to avoid high fructose corn syrup. Nature Valley products often contain HFCS, and Kashi does not. Other than that, they're both tasty and fine in moderation.

You can continue to eat at a deficit (to lose weight) until you actually get pregnant. Once you get pregnant, go to maintenance for the first few months, then up it an additional 500 calories a day (gain 1/2 lb per week). Like newaustinite said, you'll want a prenatal vitamin and folic acid supplements for now too. If you…
