I'm a full-time employee and mom to 2 boys (3 and 16 months). The only way I found to work it in is at 5am. Everyone in the house is sleeping, and I sneak downstairs to get my workout done. I tried in the evening after they boys are in bed, but I found that after a full day of work, cooking and cleaning before my husband…

I have an Android phone and also use the RunKeeper app. It rocks! Note that this won't work on a treadmill, because of the GPS.

We have a group of people starting June 6th. We'd be a week behind you, but you're welcome to join us. If you wanted to start with us as well, that'd be awesome too. Here's the link to the thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/248519-mark-your-calendar-june-6th-starts-another-round-of-p90x-c

You know I'm in! I'm so pumped to get this rolling.

Your plan sounds good! Personally, I get bored doing a whole hour on the elliptical. I love the idea of increasing your calories, and keeping it mostly cardio. I'm no expert on the macro ratios, but since you're not doing a lot of weight training and mostly cardio, would it make sense to up your carbs for energy, and…

Awesome! Just checked out the first video, and he makes things easy to understand and fun to listen to. I'll definitely be watching more.

Abnormal is nothing to get alarmed about yet. I had an abnormal pap a few years ago. They might just repeat the pap to see if it comes back abnormal again. Mine came back clean on the re-test. If it's abnormal again, they do a biopsy. A biopsy will give better insight, and then you could have something to worry about. For…

Wow!!! That's awesome! Go for the weighted vest and Bring It! I can do some of the moves in the advanced position - heels to the heavens, leg climbs, v-up/rollups - but putting my hands up is just not there yet. You've inspired me to give it a try in the morning...

I've been sidelined for over a week with a sinus infection. So much pressure my teeth hurt! I'm on meds, and hoping I can pick back up this week. I'm counting last week, since I completed the majority of the workouts. I'll do one more week, then recovery, and on to phase 3. I'm pretty bummed that I fell behind, but…

For sure! Definitely want to see this MAK! Are you planning on doing another round, or what's up next for you?

@Bob: Here's the link to my adjustable ones: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Gold-s-Gym-25-lb.-Adjustable-Weight-Speed-Pack/12441626 They're an investment up front, but you'd only have to carry 50lbs of weights instead... they also have options for higher weights if you need more than 25lbs. Also, a little jealous about mowing…

Good morning, everyone! @becca: Thanks for that site! I definitely have some good ideas now. @Bob: I am the same way with taking time off - if I take one day, it turns into a week, then a month, and on and on. The accountability of this thread keeps me going, and I don't want to risk getting too far off track. @soccermum:…

@lizard: That really stinks! Sorry to hear about the injury. Hopefully you can get completely healed up and back at it soon. I'm getting back on the wagon. I took some undesired time off (alarm clock and baby issues), but am back today. Somehow, I just can't get my workout done at night. I like to spend time with my boys…

I was about 18% and had no changes. I would guess closer to 15% and below is when you'd start to see changes. I found a different forum online where a girl was at 13.5% and her cycle had stopped completely.

This is my workout tonight too... I've only done it once before, but it was tough for me. Some of the pushup moved were a joke for me to even attempt. I'm hoping it gets better, but definitely not one of my favorites.
-
Totally missed the alarm this morning, and woke up 20 minutes late. Chest/Shoulders/Triceps will have to wait until this evening. I feel so much better when I get my workout done in the morning, but hopefully hubby will help out with the boys tonight, so I can do it. @Kelnurse: I LOVE Plyo! The intensity of it is beyond…

Happy Friday! Legs&Back for me today! I got a good increase on my pullups today (using a chair still). Personally, I have to remember to not do this and Plyo back to back again. They both give me such a good burn in my legs, that it was tough to get through after Plyo yesterday. I think I might go for Yoga tomorrow,…
-
So awesome! You have the bikini body I'm striving for. I don't know if mine will ever come - after 2 c-sections, and stretch marks like crazy... oh well, you never know if you don't try.
-
Since I missed Plyo on Tuesday, I subbed it in for Yoga today. I guess that's all I know for now. Keep rocking, everyone!
-
I vote Yoga... Legs/Back and Plyo are definitely out because they focus so much on your legs, and you don't want them worn out before running so much. Since you've never tried Yoga, I think it's time to give it a go.

It's definitely high-impact, so if you have any joint issues, you may have to modify. It's quite a bit of leg work (squats, lunges) with spurts of jumping. Tony's quote from the dvd is to "Think like a cat," so the jumping is controlled with soft landings. Definitely an intense cardio workout, and one of my favorites! I…

I'm left handed, so I guess it makes sense that my left is stronger... it's just frustrating when I'm doing bicep curls, and one arm can't keep up with the other :grumble:
-
I'm back! I missed Plyo yesterday because I was sick. I normally never call in sick to work, but I actually stayed home yesterday. I got lots of sleep in and am back to normal today. I did Back/Biceps/ARX this morning, and it was tough. Weird thing I noticed... my left bicep is noticeably stronger than my right. Not sure…
-
Day 31 - Into Phase 2 for me. Chest/Shoulders/Triceps/ARX rocked today... except for a few of the pushup moves. One arm push ups - I literally laughed out loud when I attempted them. Some of the moves I had to do on my knees, but I'll get there. Core Syn actually seemed to benefit me significantly. I found ARX much less…

Lots of fun stuff tomorrow... my best friend just had a baby, so we're visiting them. We're also going shopping. I live in a small town, and we don't have much for decent shopping, so I'm excited!
-
@ MAK: Great job doing CardioX, even though you weren't feeling good. @Emma: You are giving your legs a beating! No wonder they weren't happy with Legs & Back. Awesome job pushing through half... that is a tough one! @Bob: Have a great time with your girls tonight! You've earned it  @annyshay: I think you have a…

Here is a site I found that lists some options: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/nutrition/a/fibercounts.htm It lists the carb and fiber counts for all of the items on the list. Some that I especially like are flax, chia, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, blackberries, and asparagus.

I'm just finishing up my first recovery week. Phase 2 of P90X classic is starting next week, and I'm pumped for the new set of DVDs. Right now I'm posting my daily updates here too: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/194028-new-round-of-p90x-starts-feb-28th-join-me-cont-d?page=10#posts-2717985

Love this!! This shows such dedication... not just to P90X, but to a healthy life in general. Bringing your own food, scale, etc. is probably something extra that most people don't even think of doing. Nice work, Bob! Today was XStretch for the first time. I really enjoyed it, but didn't break a sweat at all. It was a nice…

@Deb - Nice work with the intense cardio! I wish I had the stamina to be doing more! You make me feel like such a slacker sometimes  Today was Kenpo for me. I HATE getting interrupted during my workout, and that's exactly what happened this morning. Hubby woke up late, so he asked me to pack his lunch, then baby…
