Who wouldn't like a few more motivational friends?

Start counting your calories now before you reduce your daily calorie intake. It was an eye opener for me. I tracked all my calories for two weeks before switching to what I do now. It was incredible to see just how much I was eating and at what time of the day I was eating everything. Eating at night was the hardest thing…

You've come to the right place. Great advise from everyone and I can't really add anything to it, but add me as a friend and if you ever need to vent, drop me a line.

42 here and I can tell that just in the past two years my body has really slowed down and just can't do the same things that it used to be able to do. That's why I am back. I don't want to be like this anymore. So motivated! I could use a few motivated friends too.

I love my flex. So far it seems to do everything I want it to do. Easy and comfortable to wear (it did take a week to get used to wearing it all the time.) I like changing the bands to different colors. Easy to clean. It seems very accurate for my walking. I love how it links up to MFP. It is a pedometer so I don't count…

You can also use a spaghetti squash and make somewhat tasty noodles that are low calorie. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/spicy-roasted-tomato-marinara-with-spaghetti-squash-recipe.html

I loved reading this post, great thoughts from everyone. I miss being thin and what I miss most about being thin is how active I used to be, how great it was to just be able to go into a store and buy clothes off the rack, eat things without counting calories because I was active. There are so many simple things that I…

Well I'm starting again too. Lost the weight once, put it back on, been restarting off and on for two years. This time I've had it, I can't do this fat suit anymore. It's time to change.

I am in the same boat and looking for a good workout without spending more money than I need too. Thanks for the info about the videos on YouTube. I will check those out first!

Congrats! I did jump ahead and look at the pictures but I went back and read your inspiring story. Great job and keep it up and good luck to all your upcoming endeavors!

Great job! Keep it up!

I am all for it! Fitness Pal is awesome, especially if you have the app for the phone. It makes counting calories SO easy. I've been off and on MFP for a few years but I keep coming back. I have been mulling this over for the past four months and I've got new reasons to get back in shape and better health. As soon as I get…

Don't get sucked into her problems. Just smile and change the subject or the best way that I have seen when someone is jealous of you, is to just simply not ackknowledge the bad behavior and walk away. Be nice, smile, and be inviting when she is nice to you to reinforce the good behavior, even be a little overly animated…

My best friend passed away before Xmas and he was only 40 years old. He wasn't over weight, he didn't smoke, and hardly drank at all. He ran, did yoga, ti-chi, and meditated on a very regular basis. He went to bed after dinner and he died in his sleep due to a heart failure. I have more reasons to have a heart attack,…

Congrats! Keep at it and keep it off! Also, keep us udpated to how your maintenance is going! Awesome!

You can do it! Stay focused, remember your goals, and tell yourself one day at a time. If you mess up one day, just get back on track and keep going for it!

I have three pair of shorts in the back of my closet that I refuse to throw or give away. My goal is to fit back into them. My other goal is to be able to sleep, sit, and move without it being uncomfortable.

Incredible! Congrats, keep it up! Any advise for us noobs?

I have had the same problem and my husband said the same thing, drink lots and lots of water, and before bed and in the morning stretch your legs and your body. Now I just get a little tightness in my calves on occasion. It can also mean you are low in potassium so eat a few extra bananas and if none of that helps, go see…
