Yum! Bumping for later

Yay, my friend! Your consistency on my feed is always inspiring but this is something else! Great work. Hope I can show pics like this next year.

Bump! Sounds awesome!

Google "paradoxical vocal fold dysfunction." Pursed-lip breathing can help you get some more oxygen, as can "sniffing" sharply through your nose. Obviously can't dx you over the internet, but an inhaler is not always the answer as it is a bronchodilator and won't do you a lick of good if the problem is at the level of your…

I would say most definitely. Dehydration is terrible for supply! Can you take probiotics? I found those to be really helpful early on when I had to take meds. If you can't, yogurt may help as well. Hope you feel better soon!

I think your brain works just fine...it's a little odd to log it as a "food." I guess it's somebody's food :-D

Go to your food diary and add food. Type in breastfeeding. There should be an option for both exclusive (-500 cal) and extended (-300 cal, I think). You just have to log it once daily. Way to go, mama.

Bumping for later!

As a general rule, exclusive bf'ing burns 500 cal/day. When you log your foods, there is an option to log breastfeeding (as a food, which is weird) which then adds 500 cal to your daily allowance. As far as foods go, I eat a lot of oatmeal, greek yogurt, peanut butter, and eggs. I work 9 hr days and I typically bring 2…

I'm a speech pathologist and I do some of these exercises with people who have speech and swallowing problems. Exercise physiology principles apply to your facial muscles just as any others. Changes in function (improved swallow, easier to chew, better articulation) occur as muscles become stronger. However, most people do…

I'm close to Marion; feel free to add me :)

Hi! Just had my 2nd baby girl 10/10/12...am now cleared to work out so I'm trying to get on track here. Glad to find this group!

I love David Crowder Band-- Like a Lion, No One Like You, Undignified, etc. Skillet & Flyleaf are great. Hillsong United has some good upbeat songs, too, like Take it All, Freedom is Here...can't think of more off the top of my head now but I will ask the husband!

Hooray! I think that's a great NSV. I'm pretty sure you can buy ring sizers (not sure if that's what they're called) at most places that sell jewelry. They're just clear thingys that you can hook onto your ring until you decide to resize.

My favs for cardio are songs that I never listen to otherwise; I usually listen to contemporary Christian and alt-rock type music... *Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 *Pump It by Black Eyed Peas *Fighter & Ain't No Other Man by Christina Aguilera *ET by Katy Perry Just to name a few :)

I'd love to join! Name: Allison Current weight: 197.5 Goal weight: 155.0 In 90 days, I'd like to see the 180's on the scale; preferably 185, so when spring rolls around I can begin C25K! I did it once before but sprained an ankle after the first week. My PT says I need to strengthen my butt, core and IT band so I'm going…

Can I join you all? I started (over) yesterday...was on day 3 of level one and then got sick. I'm not able to do it tonight because we have company but I will be doing day 2 in the morning. I'd love to hear how others are doing!

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I think if you love Turbo Fire then Turbo Jam may be too easy for you. Turbo Fire has more intense cardio than Turbo Jam. That being said, TJ is really fun! I do it at least a couple times a week.

I always mix something in. My favorites are fresh pomegranate and honey, natural peanut butter and mini chocolate chips, and Jello sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding mix. I use Fage, usually 0% but the 2% is much tastier!

You look beautiful!

I love your style! Is that an owl earring I see?

Fogo de Chao in Indy (downtown) is a really unique place. Of course, portion control may be difficult because they just keep bringing skewers of meat to the table. Basically it's a Brazilian steakhouse where you pay a flat rate & they bring all different kinds of meat (filet, lamb, chicken, pork, ribeye, etc.) to the…

Holy *#@&$*@#&$ you look awesome! Mind sharing what workouts you used?

In my field, a screening tool is used by staff to determine if a patient is at risk for a certain problem. If a screen determines that a patient may be at risk, then a consult is ordered for a diagnostic test administered by a qualified professional. This diagnostic test is much more specific and is typically…
