I am just doing the 10-day cleanse... on day 3 and have lost 6.2 already.. (haven't logged it yet since my week isn't up). Just using it as a "kick-start" to get back on track

I do Just Dance with the Wii... I sweat more and burn more calories than using a treadmill... good luck!

my weight loss has improved since I have been using my Polar vs what the machines at the gym say or what MFP says. Override what MFP says... it is just a guess anyways and what my 120 lb friend burns isn't near what I burn... Good luck!

veggies and fruits! It is hard to add if you aren't used to them, but I started steaming broccoli and putting some tastefully simple garlic garlic on it with some fake spray butter and it fills me up longer and the calories are almost nonexistent! Watch your sodium... that will hold your water weight... which doesn't help…

Have you tried the local butchers? They will grind the meat for you to your specifications! Even in small towns!! Sometimes especially in small towns! :-) Trust me when I say it will be a TON healthier and tastier than the varieties at Walmart.

almonds are great for you! heart healthy fats... :-) I believe the brand is Emerald? They have a cocoa covered almonds... they are good for you in moderation (my hospital's cardiac rehab recommends them),,,, I think they also have them in 100 calorie packs. Liquid is just egg whites with food coloring... I make omelets using 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites... so much more tasty! (and usually cheaper to separate yourself...)

I agree with this... some of the "calories burned" on here is not accurate or on machines... I bought a Polar Heart Rate Monitor so that I would know exactly how many calories that I burn during workouts... I also don't count "cleaning, etc" like some do... If I put in "hiking for 2 hours" it says I burned 800 calories,…

I am addicted to fast food restaurants. My dietitian "reminds" me of the sodium that is in everything but you can make "better" choices at the fast food restaurants. Congratulations on the weight loss! Remember that you have to LIVE in the real world.

DON'T skip breakfast! The biggest reason people don't lose is because they skip meals! And breakfast is the most important. My dietitian would SCREAM if she saw me skip the morning meal... I like some of the suggestions there... thank goodness I'm not tired of oatmeal yet :-) Good luck!

I too weigh in too frequently, but agree that slow and steady is the best way and it didn't not magically appear.... my Wii Fit Plus actually YELLED at me one week because I had lost too much too fast.
