  • Monday Check in: Last week: 164.2 This week: 161.8 Probably won't make my goal of 160 before AF (bringing the start of my IVF shots) but I am still very happy with the results this week.
  • 35 was my tough birthday. I wanted to be finished with 2 kids by then, and instead I had spent 5 years working on it with no results. Fortunately I got good news within a month, but it wasn't a fun day for me. Maybe you will get your good news next month - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.
  • I am doing the snoopy dance for you - that is FANTASTIC! Congrats!
  • I love the idea of a challenge! I am in! My mini goal is 5 more pounds before I start IVF next month. I started at 168 (I am 5'3") and am now at 164.4. I would love to be 160 when I start my shots. Pam - I think it is such a good idea to clean out your pantry. I find it much easier to resist junk food when it isn't right…
  • Jalara - I have done IVF. We had one live round in September 2008 which seemed to go well but resulted in no pregnancy. We had 2 frozen embryos and did a frozen embryo cycle in December 2008. Both embryos implanted but one stopped growing at 6 weeks, and I had a healthy son September 2009. Now we are trying for number 2…
  • My coworker grew tomatillos in her garden. I have had tomatillo salsa before, but I have never eaten one raw - I cut a few up and sprinkled a little salt and pepper, and they were yummy!
  • Ha ha - I totally have that problem. It is so frustrating.I used to have to hide my OPK and just pretend like I was really in the mood - if he knew the timing was right he would get completely stressed. That's the only good thing about IVF - I don't have to "sneak around".
  • I just signed up and I would love to join this group. We were going to start our IVF this week and went on a "last vacation" - so of course AF started 5 days early while I was out of town. Instead of getting upset I decided to sign up here and try to get a little more healthy since I have another month before we can start…
  • 29 pounds - that is fantastic! Try to put it in perspective - go find something that weights about 30 pounds. Pick it up. Carry it around for about 10 minutes without putting it down, and then remember you used to do that ALL THE TIME.
