Perhaps if Kesler wasn't more concerned about posing for the body issue of ESPN, he could have focused more on practicing. Nah. That team LOVES to self destruct without the help of outside influences.

Dear Zach, You are my new BFF. It's so fun to laugh at LOLuongo!

Oh no, I like to tease Leaf fans as well...who doesn't? Coming from a Canucks fan...I mean, really?
-
Is that even allowed?!
-
You're giving the Leafs fan grief? How's that Cup of yours? Oh wait.
-
I'm a Hawks fan!

I'm not a runner, and coming off of a concussion, I'm out. That being said, anyone signing up for other 5Ks in the future?
-
I've never joined a "challenge" group, but would love in. I was in a car accident with a concussion, and I'm finally starting to feel better. Count me IN!
-
awww, hope you all like it as much as I do! :-)

you can find it near the grains at the grocery store. I buy mine at trader joe's and whole foods. My parent's buy theirs at Jewel/Dominicks.

Can't wait to try the burgers!!!

First of all--congrats on your journey! You're doing something fantastic for you! I feel badly in saying this, but your sister will have to come to the same actualization and get on board to do it for herself, as you did it for yourself. Being 5'2" myself, and weighing almost 200 pounds is what set me off. I was on a…

Here's one of my favorites: Roasted cauliflower. Super easy. Take a head of cauliflower, cut it up into florets, wash/drain it. Spray some tin foil on a baking pan with Pam (or whatever you use). Spread cauliflower out, pinch of salt (I rarely add salt to any dish if it doesn't call for it, it's based on your preference),…

So proud of you! :-) Excellent work!

I'm a special ed teacher for high school students. Here's what REALLY works for me: a set schedule. So far, I've lost 13 lbs. Not a lot considering I have a lot more to go, but here's what really works for me. I plan all my meals out (even my lunches). I cook one day a week, usually on Sundays. I portion everything out…

In theory yes, they are "healthy" but the sad reality is that they're so processed and full of chemicals that they're not healthy for you in the long run. Do what I do--cook one day out of the week (usually all day Sunday) to plan your meals for the next two weeks. I put them in tupperware containers. Stash what I need for…

as someone who has been formally diagnosed with it bilaterally (both feet), get yourself to a doctor for a referral to a physical therapist stat. I ignored this for way too long, and ended up in PT longer, since I was compensating in my walk, and destroyed my back in the process. When you start therapy, the PT will give…

I'm 5'2" and am WAY too heavy right now. Short term, I'd be happy with 145, long term, I'm totally fine with 130-135.

hang in there David! Just know you're making a healthy lifestyle change for YOU and not anyone else. If your friends tend to "taunt" you with their fast food/poor food choices, try to meet them after dinner/meal times rather than putting yourself in a hard emotional situation. Remember, we're all proud of what you've…

sass, feel free to add me too!

Welcome to the club! I too am 33, and have decided to change my lifestyle. :-) Feel free to add me as a friend for some extra support if you'd like. Keep up the great work!

it's stories like this that give me hope! Way to be! So excited for you! Hope I can maintain your level of discipline!

Quinoa. I LOOOOOOOVE IT!

OMG! When there when I was in Boston. SOOOOOOOO AMAZINGLY GOOD!

No, wasn't caffeine withdrawls. I still drink the regular pop and eat plenty of chocolate with caffeine in it. It's all the artificial sweeteners that was in the diet pop.
-
I'm a firm believer that regular pop is way better for you than diet (although ANY pop is bad for you!). Here's my PERSONAL reason why: I used to get migraines so severe that my doctor thought it could be a tumor (IT'S NOT A TUMOR. Sorry, bad Kindergarten Cop reference). Anyway, after 4 neurologists later, and then giving…

I'm with everyone else. I usually make 2-3 big meals (I'm single) and tote them with me/freeze the left overs. I'm trying to eat more clean, and to be honest, lunch meat and processed meals aren't in the cards. Plus, I've found that it's a lot cheaper to eat this way too. One thing I do crave a lot of is carbs. I'm sure…

Know what helps me? Adding Quinoa, barley, and a bunch of fresh veggies. Also, be sure to drink a TON of water!

I have the same problem. Everyone that has responded has had some awesome advice. Money has never been more tight for me, so these are the tips I can give to you. I (almost) extreme coupon for my necessities such as toilet paper, paper towels, tooth paste etc. That saves me a ton of money. If you'd like, please message me,…
