I have less than 10lbs to go, and although I set my loss to 1lb per week, I am a very active person, some weeks I lose 2lbs, other weeks 1lb or less. The more you move, the more you can eat which makes losing the last 10lbs do-able.

I would say it's normal. As you have less to lose its harder and harder to reach goal. I maintained in the 140's for over a year after losing 40+lbs. In January I finally decided to tighten up my food logging and up my exercise. It's coming off again, without much effort. I'm now 7.4lbs away from goal, and this is the…

Is it normal to have multiple adjustments at the end of the day? I have three for yesterday, and have only had one adjustment prior.

Thanks!

I just posted in the general weight loss section I'm having the same issue-keeps giving me extra calories then taking them away even though I've been active. I went to bed last night with a surplus of over 300 calories and woke up in the red. That being said my tdee for Fitbit is way higher then what it's syncing to MFP.…

Yes this has been happening to me for the past few days, before bed says +# of calories, then when I wake up they are gone or less-and tdee's are completely different between Fitbit (which I assume would be more accurate) and MFP. Just got it this week so I'm very confused!
-
Thanks! Where is the Fitbit group?
-
The tdee for MFP and the tdee for Fitbit don't match up I mean.
-
But according to Fitbit the total calories burned yesterday were 2279? 2279-500=1779? MFP synced with Fitbit is 1494? So that would mean 1994 burned. 1994-500=1494. Numbers don't add up.

Wow! Great job! You look fantastic!

Chocolate "dipped" granola bars or chocolate for me. A dipped granola bar only has about 140 calories, and definitely takes away my sweet craving. Or I'll eat a few squares of actual chocolate (not the whole bar), I make sure it fits into my calories intake for the day :)

I go up 2-3lbs during my TOM and ovulation too. Give it a few days for the water weight to fall off again, drink lots of water too.
-
I weigh daily. Helps me see fluctuations during Ovulation and my TOM, also keeps me accountable on a daily basis. I think it's fine to weigh in daily (same time of day, after "doing your business" etc.), as long as you don't get frustrated or discouraged with temporary weight gain like water weight.

Just get back on the horse. Every day is a new day, you can do this. Talk with your partner, and let her know this is important to you. If she is not supportive, that's okay, remember why you started this journey in the first place-do this for you, with or without the support of your partner.

So apparently the wild diet guy is only eating 800-1100 calories per day. Seems sustainable.

Great job!

Okay perfect! Thanks so much :) I have to say I'm loving this so far!

Thanks for the advice! I usually eat between 1400-1500 cals per day,and have been losing on average 1.5lbs per week. MFP has my goal set to losing 1lb per week as I only have around 10lbs left until goal. I have set my Fitbit adjustment to negative calories as well. So I guess what I'm asking is-The adjusted calories, is…

Do I set my level in Fitbit too? Is there a way to do that? It's pretty much on basic settings etc right now. Lightly active is through MFP. I've almost hit 10,000 steps by now and I still have a lot of running around to do today.
-
No fasting for me! I like to space my meals throughout the day. If I miss a meal it just makes me ravenous and I'm more likely to make poor choices.
-
I'm 33yrs old and have been consistently losing 1.5lbs per week. I'm actually finding it fairly easy, eating 1400-1500 calories per day, exercise when possible (eat those calories back too!), I'm only 9lbs away from my goal weight, tbh, I thought it would be a lot harder. Calories in vs calories out-that's it!

No.

I log cleaning as exercise if I'm breaking a sweat. Scrubbing floors, washing windows, folding laundry and putting it away (going up 2 flights of stairs), burning calories really add up. If I'm just doing daily tasks such as making dinner, dishes etc. I don't add it, I count it as my daily burn.
-
I always weigh myself in the morning before I eat and after I've "done my business".
-
Try eating nuts etc. A handful really adds up and will help you reach your calorie goal. You don't want to consistently be under 1200, under 1000 is really bad in terms of health, and long term success.
-
Just move on-tomorrow is a new day!

Everyone I know who has done "shakeology"has put the weight back on (plus more!) after stopping or become a high-pressure sales person in order to continue with the program. Eat real food at a calorie deficit for long term successful weight loss. If time is a factor, prepare ahead for the week. Save your money and use MFP,…

I chose mine because it's right in the middle of healthy, plus I haven't been in the 120's in over 10yrs! My goal is 129 at 5'5.

I usually do toast with butter, or it's a small portion of soup, I pair it with a sandwich. Grilled cheese with tomato soup has to be one of my favorites :)
