I run 4-11 miles daily, 6 days a week. I don't need extra calories or extra anything to achieve those runs. Lots of times i will run 10 miles then get depressed at the amount of calories i eat back….because its so small. You can't allow yourself to overdo the calories just because you run. I'm not a runner, I just run to earn more calories to eat. I started almost 1.5 yrs ago. I use to do 14 min miles, but now if I run 6 miles or less I do 9.3 -10 min miles. 7 miles to 11 miles I do 11.3 min miles.

i bank calories everyday. I never log my dog walks but save them up for a nice weekly treat. Either a slice of cake or a pint of ice cream..whatever i want =) been steadily loosing weight w no problems =)

I still loose weight even when i have had a bad day…just maybe .5 or .2 but it's still a loss!

I say go on your vacation and enjoy yourself. My husband loves cruises so i went on two last year. I used the gym and ate what i wanted. I gained about 10 lbs from the week. I drank alcohol also. After about 4 days back i lost 7 lbs of the weight i gained because it was mostly water weight.

Weight multiplied by .63 is calories burned per mile for running. It's your net calorie burn.

I eat fruit everyday. It has sugar but it also has vitamins….as long as you fit it into your macros your fine.

I think i read somewhere or maybe it is just a urban legend that in the super obese the brain doesn't register that the person is full. I can see how easy it would be though. You gain 20 then another 20 and before you know it you feel akward and uncomfortable exercising and just doing physical things. A horrible thing =(

I eat back just about all of my exercise calories. I run as my cardio 6x a week. I would be starving to death if i didn't eat more and wouldn't be able to run that much and honestly i can't function with no running. I did however do some research on running and net calories burned. I use the calculation of .63x my weight…

i'm 5'4..not sure if that is to tall for you? I eat in a range from 1600-2000 calories a day. I workout six days a week. I am currently loosing 1.5 lbs a week or more. My workouts are about an hr long sometimes more sometimes a little less.

It takes me about 4 to 5 days if it is really high in sodium. I don't eat a lot of foods high in sodium so my body loves to hang on to it =(

I run 6 days a week and i eat 75% -100% of my exercise calories back and manage to loose 1 to 2 lbs a week. I got those same results not eating my calories back…so why starve if the results are the same?

I do that w my running. I eat some of my saved calories back on sunday which is my rest day. I'm still loosing weight with no problems. I think exercise acts as a appetite suppressant cause on sunday when i don't run i am starvinnnnng.
