I've actually skipped eating them on a regular basis and when I do I find I get more weight loss stalls. I calculate my weight x.63 then x that per mile of running and try to eat up to 1800 calls a day. On some runs I still bank 200-400 a day.

I love the yogurt parfait, oatmeal, sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle, and now i love love love love love love that triple cheeseburger =) I actually go out for a long run just to eat one after!

I notice my weight loss stalls if i don't eat enough calories. So i do in fact eat a large portion of my exercise calories back. Love me some extra nom noms =)

I love the extra sweet strawberries at trader joe` s and the packaged fresh pineapple. Peaches and apricots when in season. The brussel sprouts, English peas, and roasted beets are yummy to!

Why do you care if a stranger gives you a scowl? Maybe their trying not to fart. Not to be mean or rude but don't make every look about you. I run on the treadmill and sometimes i see people looking all kinds of weird ways. Maybe their pushing themselves, thinking or mentally working something out.

I eat carbs and protein in a nice balance =D i ate two ounces of flank steak, a mini naan bread and a tablespoon of hummus and waited 1.5 hrs and then ran seven miles =D You will know what you need by the way your runs feel.

If your not counting calories by weighing and measuring all your food then good luck. I run 30+ miles a week and can easily gain weight when i don't watch what i put in my mouth. Its about the calories not the gym. Calories are more important then working out =)

Put helmets on the kids and have them ride bikes while you run/walk. You can do intervals also. Slow and steady wins the race.

If you really want your cake then eat a smaller portion and workout longer. If I know I am going to have a sweet I earn it first w exercise....although I do save my daily dog walks for a nice treat once a week.

just cook your salmon in a skillet and get it nice and crisp then add your favorite bbq sauce. Yummy.

you realize also that the more you weigh the more calories you burn? So i run a lot and now that i lost a decent amount of weight i burn so much less per mile. You need to weigh/measure everything you consume. if you don't your really not aware of your calories.
