I don't take a day off from excercise either unless forced to.(Occasionally there is a day I am too busy to exercise) I feel better when I exercise and don't feel a day of rest is necessary. I do try to rest a day between lifting weight though.

I don't have a six pack yet as I still have weight to lose but I have been doing Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack DVD since shortly after Christmas (I'm on my 4th week) and have noticed a huge difference in abdominal muscle tone and have lost several inches. It only costs 9.97 at Walmart.

I can remember when I was younger and weighed 125 pounds( normal weight for my height) being described by a boy as "the heavyset girl". It crushed me and led me to believe I was fat when I was not. I was always very self concious about my body and my weight.

I am with you. Between a few bad eating days around Thanksgiving and "Aunt Flow" coming to visit at the end of the week, I am up a few pounds. The good thing is I will be down a few and then some next week. Happens every month. Gotta love it!

Not sure if it's the same but a lot of people I work with are doing the HCG diet. It is restrictive to the extreme and I'm not seeing them lose anymore than me. I'm not impressed by it.

I agree with the water thing, weigh myself every morning, and try to stay between 1000 and 1300 calories depending on how hungry I am that day. I eat cottage cheese, yogurt (especially greek), chicken or salmon on my salads, venison, nuts, beans.

I stayed the same wieight for several weeks before starting to lose and felt a bit discouraged but stuck with it and am now steadily losing. It just took a while to get going. It will happen. Just keep on doing what you are doing.
