Something I don't need to have an opinion on as it is doing nobody any harm! Each mother & each child is different & why do we have any right to pass our opinions???

Wait until you are a little closer to your goal & see how you feel & look then. My goal is to lose just a bit more until it is right & then I will stop. I know I have about 5 stone to go but it may be 4 or 6. Who cares until I get a bit closer to it?!?!?

Do it if it is the right decision for you even if this guy were to disappear from your life after a few weeks. If you have a good job there and all the other stuff that you need to make a good life then fine. Do it because it is a good decision in your head for you, NOT just because your feelings tell you to.

and because when I get on a bus or train people get very uncomfortable that I may choose the seat next to them.......

Well done for week one.........one day at a time & keep going!! I don't always win but I keep trying!!
-
Just come back from a 5 week holiday with friends in the area!! Enjoyed spending time at the Ark on a Friday evening. There is a lot of ways to help the homeless in Vernon.

My parents hated the idea of people shortening our names so called their kids Mary, Keith & Jill. Difficult to shorten them you would think?? Dad used to call us, in order, Daisy, Cloth-ears & Jillikins!!
-
So well done! I am amazed & so happy for you. One of the biggest changes is the size of your smile!!! Enjoy life!

soak some lentils or pulses & add them for a cheap high protein thickener. They fill you up too so no need for potatoes!
-
Set smaller goals that are achievable. Aim to go once a week & if you manage twice have a pedicure as a treat!

Well done & who knows what shape you may end up being?!?!? I have lost 86lb & thought I was a pear but seemed to have unveiled an hourglass!! Keep at it one day at a time, don't beat yourself up when you fall down but pick yourself up again & recognise how many days you have NOT fallen on! I have another 70lb to go so…
-
Lentils & pulses a good source of protein & fibre as well as filling you up. Fruit good too. I have trouble eating much bread, potato, pasta & rice following gastric bypass surgery. Pulses have really helped to make me feel full without the bloating of the carbs!

I have lost about 86lbs in the last 16 months. My mother who can not bring herself to say anything nice about me managed to not say a thing until prompted by the staff in the home who are amazed at the difference. "Have you lost some weight then?" "Just the 6 stone Mum!" No well done - nothing!! Just as well I am not…

86lb gone but got another 70lb to go! Add me if you wish. It's a long journey but with support we can do it one day at a time.........

Be very proud of what you have achieved in the last year! Eat sensibly & walk lots. Don't forget to enjoy your baby. Time enough to beat yourself up about weight gain!!
-
Try doing night shifts! Then you wake up & eat all sorts of stuff for breakfast...... Eat what you fancy within your limits!
-
When it comes to dieting shift work is really hard. Been doing that for years but it is a case of getting a pattern of eating. Work out what it is you need in the way of food to take to work with you & make sure you have the sensible options or you will hit the machines for snacks. Not taking money with you will help!…

I do not like breakfast but do not eat when I very first get up. It is usually about an hour or so after I wake up & is only a cereal bar so I don't have to think too much. I know it is good for me & certainly stops the overwhelming hunger urges mid morning but doing it this way works for me.

The main problems with manufactured artificial sweeteners are with the nerves & they are strongly discouraged for those with neurological problems like Parkinson's disease & Multiple Sclerosis. (I have MS) Alternative natural sweeteners are no problem but it is really hard to avoid the aspertame as it seems to be in…

Hate is a very strong word to use about yourself. I have had to learn that not matter how much I may hate the state I got into, God made me & He don't make junk! I made a bit of a mess of my body but I must love who I am because God does & who am I to critisise Him?? You are you just struggling to find out how to work out…
-
God made each one perfect & does not make junk! If you choose tattoos fine but you do not need to enhance your body in that way.
-
You look great in both pics but I am sure you feel better now! Well done!
-
Just who are you cheating?? Take a day off & enjoy life occasionally then if you log it retrospectively you may be surprised at how little over you have gone. We are learning how to live healthier & beating ourselves up is not healthy!
-
Lentils & pulses are good for added protein in soups & stews. You can also make them into low sugar cookies!

The ones that make a smile.....

Black pudding!

If you can not allocate an amout that satisfies you within your calorie budget then just say NO! You want for your life to be controlled by cake?!?!?

I have to take multi vits & minerals 100% of my daily needs as I had a gastric bypass 15 months ago. Even with this & very good health eating they pick up occassional dips in some things. Currently ferratin & Vit D!! The vitamins are just not in the food anymore as it is so intensively reared & processed, not at the levels…
-
How much weight has she lost in that time?!?!?

Home made mix of my favorite nuts & dried fruit! Because they are my favorite bits they are yummy & hit the spot!
