I also have to point out this Dr told me to decrease my calories to 1000 since I am not losing weight (iI have done 1200,1570,1800 calories). this was AFTER I told her I work out 5-6 times a week (cardio and weights) and on week nights average 500 calories and weekend work outs 700-800. I even questioned if it was a good…

Those were the only 3 she did. She didnt even want to do the Ferritin, I had to almost make her!

17??? Holly crap! good for you.

I think you answered my question. " getting to a anaerobic state"

Amazing! Thank you

Thank you!! I love how much I learn here. My lunches are pre-portioned for the week already, but everything else I will start to do this now.

I would recomend it. I find when I have one I have to show up. They push me to my limits, then if were to do it myself I know I wouldn't. I now love working out I am debating if I can do it on my own. I just purcahsed another 30 sessions with my PT and once that is completed I will re-evaluate.

I had a thought. Since there is a high probablity based on Dawns observation - would it be best to NOT eat my exercise calories?
-
Dawn: I measure everything that goes in my mouth. I did learn (6-8 weeks ago) to weigh my meat raw (I was doing cooked). I do have a digital scale. What are you looking at to assume it was volume? (so I can learn). Rice - when it says 1/2 cup - I eat half a cup. are you saying I should put that on the scale and weigh it as…

I have my feed back. I know what i may be doing wrong if you've read you'd see that. I know now what I thought I was doing right was incorrect. That's the point of this forum, right? To assist one another? If I knew everything about everything I would be here asking for feedback would I?

Prizepeople - the OMG reply was because this guy is going from thread to thread posting the exact same thing. It was also noticed by several other people. Also, to clarify. I know my body. I know its unusual to not see a change, which is why i said PATIENCE IS NOT WHAT I WANT TO HEAR. Because I know I am doing something…

Thanks everyone there have been some good feedback. Raw vs. cooked meat I think is a bit one.But lots of others that will help. going to go home tonight and look through this thread and start to implement some great ideas. Even though I thought my logging in was good, I see where I can improve now. Always room for…

Ahh hah. this might be it. I weight everything cooked. I need to look at this going forward. I honestly dont know what option I am selecting when doing calories. Thank you for this. This could be a game changer :-)

Roan - I am always thirsty, have been since I was a teenager. They tested for MS, thyroid, several items/ Over the years docotors chaulked it up to habit. This is the only liquid I drink (besised coffee). That amount of water is actually down from where I used to be back in my 20s! I used to drink a good gallon!

Staci, I logged on Fitfit. My app was not working.

To answer some questions: I have a digitial scale - which I think is accurate because last night when I took my 10oz package of peanuts it made exactly 10 - 1oz packages. I weight and measure everything I put in my mouth. The only thing that could be off is my hummus as I do that at work, so if I was off it would be a very…

I have not seen a doctor. Would I see a general Dr, or some sort of specialist?
-
I have that same watch. I did put in my exact stats, no one is going to go in there to see how much I weigh! I know its not perfect and there is probably a margin of error I was hoping it was not a lot. 50 or so would be nice to be off. I was told to eat half my calories. I was going to count for 250-300 extra ones on my…

i did not know I could! i only had it sync'd with walgreens. thanks
-
thanks for the reply the 850 day is wrong, its actually 1300 some food would not sync. The etxra 5,000 steps is an intentional increase. I walk around the building a few times a day, park at the futher parking spot and walk around the block at night to hit my 10,000. When i first got my fitbit I wore it for 10 days with my…

Opps sorry for the typo, it appears you cannot edit a topic name!

The strange thing for me is my lungs can handle it, however my body cannot. I can't seem to get past the pain... Not an injuiry pain.. but you know what I mean. (I hope)

I do 3.5 walk and 4.9 or 5 run.
-
I downloaded an app on my phone its free C25K is the name. I love it as it tells you when to run and walk and no keeping track of the time. I can only run on a treadmill, it kills my knees when I run outside
-
I just started week 4. when I turned the program on on my phone yesterday I almost died, it wanted me to run 5 min TWO times! I survived, and was proud of myself. Normally I do not go to the gym on Sundays but I am heading there to see if I can do it again!

Thanks for the feedback. I like the V8 juice in the morning as its my only liquid I drink besides water and coffee, I will replace that in the morning with something else... (not sure yet :-) ) . I am logging everything with the exception of olive oil. I use that on my stir fry. I will incorporate more veggies I am not a…

I turned my phone on at the gym and had no clue what the intervals would have in store for me. I almost fell over when I saw 3 minutes! But I survived (barley) and icing my knee!

I have downloaded a few apps for free. The one I am staying with is called couch to 5k and their icon is a "@" and under it "C25K". The others I tried I did not like. However this app would not be good if you are outside running because if you move the phone to its size it starts the time over. Teh other one I had but it I…
