Low Ferritin levels
After struggling to lose much since Sept I felt I should after all the food changes, calorie deficit and working out I do I went to the DR to get some blood work done. After researching I felt I had a lot of symptoms of a Thyroid issue. The Dr did a TSH, FREE T4 and Ferritin test. (I am unsure why T3 was not done as that…

HIIT - treadmill training
Last night I tried to do something different, rather than run for 5k I do 3 times a week. I did some HIIT on the treadmill and I really enjoyed it, when I was done I felt like I had an awsome work out - even up until today. There appears to be soo much data on how to do them I got confused. -This is what I did.. I would…

increased my calories.. how long should I give it?
I have recently increased my calories. I became re-aware of my weight in September and started back watching my food/exercise. MFP was telling me to do 1200 (then sometimes I would eat ½ of my exercise calories) I have done this without fail for a month now (logging between this site and another) I am back here full time…

Would love feedback.
I have been on this site for awhile - tried a different app to switch it up but I did not like it as it was not as easy as MFP. So I am back here 100% now since Sunday. A few months back I was really dedicated and lost interest. For some reason (which is good) I am craving exercise and I actually enjoy it, which is a first…

please do not tell me to be patient!!
Tomorrow marks my 3 week mark of eating better, and exercising. Everyone is telling me to be patient. I have lost NO weight! ( please ignore the "lost one pound" on my ticker. ) I log and weigh ALL my food. Over the weekend I did not use MFP as my app was messing up so I logged in fitbit. Calories were in line and…

high calorie snack
I have been eating 1200 cal for 2.5 weeks now lost 1 whole pound! I have PT 2 times a week and then 4 days I do cardio 30-45 minutes a day. According to my heart rate monitor PT days are 700+ calories burned and cardio 375ish. I have come to think I need more calories. Right now I have a good flow on my food. I don't have…

Polar watch and heart rate strap
I just bought and used it my first time with my trainer last night. I only looked at my heart rate and my avg and high when I was with her. When I got home I saw I burned 755 caleries from that one session of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It that pretty accurate? I think its a lot, but if I worked that hard, I ain't complaining!…

Food diary - feedback
I have been on here for a few years now and back on for a week 100% committed. I started Tuesday with a personal trainer and will go 2 times a week. The food diary is accurate with the exception of water. I drink 4liters a day. Its been a week now I have been eating much cleaner, the scale has not changed and I KNOW i must…

back on track, no weight loss and fitbit ??s
After having my baby (7months ago) I am back to logging my food. I was good all week and I am a little discouraged the scale did not move. I drink 1/2 gallon of water (not shown logged) and exercise I dont know how to log. A normal day for me is 4-5,000 steps but since getting my fitbit I will ensure I end the day with…

Pregnancy.
I just found out I am pregnant, I went in to the settings and it does not apear you can note that anywhere. I know when I was on WW you added points, I have no clue how many more calories I need to add? I am currently at 1200/ day. I know my 2nd question is not a food question (didn't want to repost in fitness but I will…

30 DS on phone
I have been seeing a lot of posts about this program, I really cannot stand Jillian, so I am wondering if I can actualy listen and let her "train me". I wouldn't mind being able to put it on my phone and do it at the gym. Where can I find the app or podcast? To the people who have done this program would it work at the gym…

food feedback
I wouldn't mind hearing some feedback on my food intake. Please note today is not normal day for me, and I normally drink 1 gallon of water a day and I log it when I remember but I don't normally remember. I would like to take a few suggestions to impliment. Thanks for your time.

Its all about the little changes
I started last week and really got a feel for calories (in the past I have watched what I ate according to WW points) I realize I prefer the "old school" way which involved actual calories and looking at what you are eating. Anyway, one of the best features of this site you can actually see where you are lacking in…

New Watch
I had a Gamin Forerunner 50 which did nothing but monitor your heart rate and you had a thing you put on your shoe to measure the distance. Obviously things have advanced. I would like to purchase a GPS one, however I am wondering how sensative/accurate it was. If I wore it to work would it be able to see I walked 45 steps…

Down 7 in my first week
I started on Monday and dedicated myself to exercise and eat right. Got a trainer (which I start with on Tuesday) so this week was just 1 day of exercise and 1 week of eating right. I didn't want to do too much at one time, so I think that I am now comfortable with the food changes I can now work on both. Off to the gym…

C25K week 3
I am starting week 3 this week and would love to connect with a few others for motivation. Perhaps we can have a weekly goal? I just signed up to this site so I would love some direction, and some week 3 partners.

Completed day 1 - interesting
I completed day 1, although I never thought I was a salt eater OR a sugar eater my chart shows something different. I think I need to remove my newly found jam as that brought me over at breakfast, and my new soup at lunch did me in on salt. I will change that tomorrow! What I found even more interesting was my protein. I…

Couch to 5K - starting week 3
I signed up for a trainer and she encouraged me to sign up to this site. I start wth her on Thursday but I have been trying to get back on to running and I am starting week 3 tomorrow. I am looking for a few people starting the same week so we can encourage one another and keep us all accountable
