Polar watch and heart rate strap

I just bought and used it my first time with my trainer last night. I only looked at my heart rate and my avg and high when I was with her. When I got home I saw I burned 755 caleries from that one session of 1 hour and 10 minutes. It that pretty accurate? I think its a lot, but if I worked that hard, I ain't complaining! (well muscles are, but I am not)

I use a polar ft7 watch and strap and have used others in the past, here's what to keep in mind for success when using ANY HRM/calorie counter.

    1. Not a single one no matter how expensive is 100% accurate so do not use it as your be all end all
    2. HRM/Calorie counters won't tell on you so don't fudge your weight because you may be embarrassed and you must update them as you lose/gain. A 120lb person will not burn at the same rate as a 200lb person. With that said Height, age, sex and so on must be accurate too.
    3. Don't fall into the trap of Eating back your calories because again, these are not 100% accurate. Burning 1000 calories in the gym should never justify the never ending pasta bowl at the olive garden for the night.

I have that same watch. I did put in my exact stats, no one is going to go in there to see how much I weigh!

I know its not perfect and there is probably a margin of error I was hoping it was not a lot. 50 or so would be nice to be off.

I was told to eat half my calories. I was going to count for 250-300 extra ones on my PT days. 110 would be from my protien shake.
