After having my baby (7months ago) I am back to logging my food. I was good all week and I am a little discouraged the scale did not move. I drink 1/2 gallon of water (not shown logged) and exercise I dont know how to log. A normal day for me is 4-5,000 steps but since getting my fitbit I will ensure I end the day with 9-10,000. How do I log those extra steps? They are not done at one time.
Anyway, a quick look at my food profile would be super helpful.
I also normally go to the gyn 2-3 times a week but went only yesterday and only logged the stairmaster but I was there for 70 minutes.
ETA: I did have a HUGE derease in food intake. Normally I eat out for lunch or have a frozen pizza which I noticed this week is 700 cals. Also major portion control at dinner. Same foods but portioned correctly.

For thing, you aren't even close to eating your calories on some days- you were at 850 out of 1550 one day! You have the calories, your body needs them, so eat them I'm not even talking about 'starvation mode' because all I see about that is a bunch of whining and arguing. The fact is, our bodies need food for fuel and energy and you are short changing yourself.
Also, keep in mind that a week is hardly any time, so don't stress about no loss right off the bat. Give it a little time and then reevaluate.
Finally, I personally wouldn't log any 'steps' from a pedometer or anything like that because I consider those daily activities and not intentional exercise. Only log what you do at the gym (stairmaster). 10,000 steps per day is ideal for health and weight loss, and since your normal day is 4,000/5,000, you can see where your activity is pretty light throughout the day.0 -
thanks for the reply the 850 day is wrong, its actually 1300 some food would not sync. The etxra 5,000 steps is an intentional increase. I walk around the building a few times a day, park at the futher parking spot and walk around the block at night to hit my 10,000. When i first got my fitbit I wore it for 10 days with my normal activites to see my average and then worked on brininging up to 10,0000

Why don't you sync your fitbit and mfp? I have my mfp goal set to 1000 cals and then it goes up as I move throughout the day. I usually eat up to 1500ish. I would sync them and eat what it says. It has worked for me!0

You also have the option to sync your Fitbit with your MFP account. If you have already done so then don't add in your steps.0
