I have at least 1 protein shake a day, with grass fed whey protein isolate to help boost protein intake. I take CLA to aid in losing fat and gaining muscle. It seems to work well for me. For me, the calories alone is not enough. I had to cut out the processed foods, fast foods, added sugars, soda, breads, etc. and add in some exercise and a ton of fruits and veggies but now I'm finally losing the weight.

I did adjust my goals when I hit the 10 pound mark, and I'm coming up on losing pounds 11-20 much faster than I did with pounds 1-9. I would highly recommend adjusting the goals. Not doing so is kind of cheating yourself by keeping the larger number of calories per day that were calculated on the heavier weight. For me,…
