I knew I was fat. I, on some level, didn't realize HOW fat. And I only say "self loathing" because when a daddy tells a little girl how jealous she must be of her sister, and that she'll never get married or fit into a cheerleader uniform if she "keeps going the way she's going", how can you not hate yourself? I had NO…

Honestly, Haven't worked out all week. Started a new (overnight, 12 hour shift) job and starting my 7 days off tomorrow. I'm going to try to get into a routine next hitch, now that I know what I'll be like working nights (this is a first for me)

Self loathing, based off being chubby when I was a kid and my dads response to it. I won't go into a huge long story, but in my case I self sabotaged because I was never taught that you could be beautiful at any weight. My weight was ALWAYS even from young childhood (and I was by NO MEANS FAT AS A YOUNG CHILD) just…

Welcome Tila and all! :)

First off - WATER WATER WATER. Drink it, tons of it. It will keep you fuller longer. Second - Lots of extremely healthy foods - foods that have genuine nutritional value. 100 calories of broccoli will fill you much longer than 100 calories of cookies or ice cream. Third - try to focus your attention on something…

K I went through and added a few ppl but my stats are: 5'4 247lbs 29yrs old Have lost 120ish if anyone takes that into consideration :P

My main "no" is Chicken express (one SMALL meal is an entire days worth of calories), then the Paradise Pie from Chili's. Which is... CRAZY. over 1500 calories. Sodas. None of those yummy things.

Most recent one would be last night. I work in an ER with giant windows that line the lobby. I looked up from the front desk and caught a glance of myself and my coworker standing next to me and was surprised at how little of a difference there was in our stature. This is a huge nsv for me, because this is how I used to…

Two years (of legit effort ;)) and 125ish lbs down. Still working, Still have a good 80 to lose. I'm 5'4, starting weight was 365-380ish (not sure, my scale wouldn't weigh that high) but I've always counted it as 365. Now at 247. <3

Can I just be the one to point out that the typo in the topic is driving me insane. It wouldn't let me change it.

Congats honey bear!! Proud and happy for you. I'll be there one day.

lol, anyone can feel free to add me.

Happier is an understatement, however, to add, my life has changed drastically in other ways as well as weight loss the last two years. I got a divorce from somebody who was emotionally and physically abusive. I actually work at a place I enjoy. Surrounded by hot EMT's.... deliciously hot EMT's lol

Thank you guys tons!! I in all truthfulness would've never been able to do it without Mfp!!!!

I follow the trainer guy on facebook (Chris Powell). I didn't know anything about the show until I read one of his books. I started carb cycling (hi carb one day, low the next, GOOD CARBS not bad) and it GENUINELY helped me & taught me how important and how much of an impact carbs had on MY particular weight loss efforts.…

OMG. LOL I totally thought I was the only one who counted the half! I'm 5'3.5 too :p You can all feel free to add me as well. 29, started around 365 and I'm at 258 right now. Starting size was 26/28 in all things, some things had to be ordered online. Now I'm a 16/18 in jeans & a 20ish in tops (depends on the brand).

A few recently! The appearance of my collar bones & rib cage (the second one only when laying down), my smallest jeans are now baggy, and another that is a little more detailed. I was at work & sitting in another coworkers chair. One of the Maintenance guys walked up & was talking to us, he mentioned me & the other…

1: I agree with this lady ^... 2: I hate you with all of me for those first three pictures. My badonkadonk can donate to the cause, if needed....

I actually had a doctor recently tell me to only consume 1200 calories a day. My outsides were like "sure, sounds good" yet my brain was like "you cray, girl". It's like she completely skipped over the part of the conversation where I told her I had already lost 100lbs & just needed something to help me get through a…

29 :/ On the home stretch to 30 but you can still add me lol :)

Very frustrating topic for me. I know for a long time, I didn't see myself as big as I was. Don't get me wrong, I knew I was overweight, I just didn't realize how bad it was. I was 365+ at my heaviest and I've lost 100lbs to date. I've gone down from pushing past a size 28 to now a 16 in jeans, and dresses somewhere…

Ellipticals are my <3<3, I concur.

I started out at 365, possibly more (my scale wouldn't go over 350, and the one time I got on an old fashioned medical scale @ the doctors office I was 365). Anyway, to lose 13lbs in 23 days is a good rate. That's quite literally over half a pound a day. I wouldn't push yourself to lose much faster, or you will regret it…

so glad I'm not alone lol
