major typo! 272! not 277. I edited it and corrected it. My bad!

I've been lifting for about 3 weeks, yesterday started my 4th week. I started at 265, I'm at 272 now. I have lost inches, specifically in my lower stomach, chest, thighs, waist. on my GOOD days, I eat a lot of protein. I usually do 2-3 eggs for breakfast, protein shake for mid morning snack, lunch is usually some type of…

I've been eating the same amount of calories I was before (between 1500 and 1700). I do about 20 to 35 minutes of cardio most days, some days 60 minutes. Then I do about 30 minutes of lifting, 3x a week, sometimes 4x (when I go to the gym as opposed to when I just walk on a track). I'm concerned about my calorie intake…

Could I just say "carbs" lol Cereal (cinnamon toast crunch, pb captain crunch) Pizza Cheesecake Dump Cake (don't let the name fool you, it's a rather amazing conglomeration of buttery carby fruity goodness) chocolate chip cookies (warm from the oven).... SO now I'm hungry...

Had to reply to this - cause today I got on the scale after hitting the gym pretty hard last week, and I did gain, but lost CRAZY inches lol so I'm super excited. Sometimes the scale isn't what you should rely on for success proof.

Ok, I know I just posted on this, but I wanted to reply to these posts. I have PCOS, fatty liver disease, enlarged heart, have had 1 miscarriage, used to have high blood pressure (which is what lead to the enlarged heart), and was prediabetic. YOU ARE RIGHT, getting people out of your life who are enablers and who sabotage…

I have pcos and I've lost 100lbs. It took me between a year and a half-two years to do it, and there have been times where the PCOS made my hormones so out of whack that it took ALL of the effort I had just to maintain my weight and not gain, but trust me, it's possible and worth it.

thank you guys!! feels good :) and yes I'm definitely proud.

Somewhere between 15 and 17 months. I had several times in that period where I didn't necessarily "give up" but I definitely wasn't trying. Hmm, tips I'd say would be learn your body. I knew after a few months exactly how much water weight I fluctuated, when I would tend to gain a few lbs due to montly cycle, and once I…

Thanks y'all!! I about peed myself when I got on the scale this morning! I'm technically below the 100lb point, but I didn't want to be greedy because I tend to fluctuate 2lbs or so. So 100 it is! lol

I haven't really had any outright comments, but I have had two of my 'best' friends stop hanging around with me after I lost weight. Specifically, I stopped being invited to girls nights/clubs because I was getting more attention than they are used to getting. They are both smaller than me STILL, I just have more…

Wow!! Congrats, you are gorgeous :)

You CAN do it. Anybody can. But you have to have the correct frame of mind. If you GENUINELY want it to be a lifestyle change, you have to accept that your body will lose weight at the rate it wants to. Two, if it's not as quickly as YOU want it to be, realize that slower is healthier and also helps with loose skin not…

Ahhh yay! A Doctor who topic! My inner geek is giggling & jumping up & down. I only started watching last year, but have caught up... though every time the Doctor regenerated, I had to give myself about 3 weeks of a break to mourn his loss. Yes... I'm THAT big of a dork. I cry every time....

I had a lady I used to work with call in sick TWICE for having her galbladder removed. She missed about a week both times, but eventually got fired because of it. She also (per my boss) lost about 8 grandparents while she worked there. The only other memorable one I can think of is when a woman called in sick because her…

Weights intimidate me SO much. I don't know where to start and I'm too shy to ask anyone at the Gym to help lol but kudos for you!! you look WONDERFUL.

That's awesome! I know you must feel amazing & be so proud of yourself. Congrats! I know what it feels like, I was able to get off my blood pressure meds after losing 80lbs! woohoo!

I was a DDD when I first started and all of my sports bras came from old navy. I love them. They have plus sizes online. Never had a black eye :p

I started out a LOT bigger than you, but yes, walking is what I started with. I legitimately forced myself to walk two miles. I can remember the first day like it was yesterday. So minimal activity for my 360lb self was a shock to my body, I suppose lol but I think it truly helps at any stage.

amazing. seriously.

365 ish to 275ish :) sorry, had to edit & resize!

ditto :P

wow.. truly awesome. like two different people!

I'd say this is me to a T. I was 75lbs heavier and I'm SURE my attitude/depression had something to do with it, but I constantly felt judged and talked about. "Paranoia, Paranoia everybody's coming to get me..." lol It's different now, after just this much weight lost. I still have about 125lbs to lose (yes, seriously) and…

Honestly, I've gone down a LOT. My biggest bra size was a 54 or 56 DDD, I'm now in a 42 DD, sometimes 42D depending on the bra fit. I had a lot of back fat, so when I started losing, luckily that started coming off first. I still have over 100lbs to lose, hoping they don't go down TOO muchy more (luckily my cup size hasn't…

Its definitely a struggle but I've managed to lose almost 80lbs! add me if you want :)
