One Pound is what most of us strive for weekly! Perhaps try a heart rate monitor to get more accurate burn while swimming. Water, I go by the drink half your weight in ounces concept. Chin up and keep going!

I am a CT resident.. In the last 52 years, CT has only put one person to death, so really, nothing changes. There is way to many retrials, hearings etc to get across the red tape to make it happen. I love mine!! I I get a better, more accurate account of my calorie burn. I take whatever the total was and subtract my hourly BMR number and add to my log. Pushes me to reach my burn goals..

Eat more! worked for me.. I'm becoming a believer in eating back some of those exercise calories. Also, change your routine while working out also helps.

It's kinda funny when my rate picks up on the person next me on the treadmills.. I'm pretty sure it is screwing up their calorie counts. What can you do?? Just go with it I guess..

I am about the same weight as you.. I do 30 minutes of elliptical on Fat Burn Level 8 and burn about 330-350 Calories in 30 minutes. My chest strap HRM is read thru the machine, so I think it is pretty accurate.

I found that I liked outside better because your body can set it's own speed versus on a treadmill where you are expected to keep up to whatever setting you are on.. Yesterday was my 1 year. 25lbs my first year! I must admit to not working as hard toward the end of the year, but did not gain anything back. I'm back and ready to go! Hoping for another 15lbs. Was not hard to get started again. Congrats!
