I used to drink all of that but I was told by a nutritionist that if you try something (black coffee) for 13 days, it will become you preference. I tried and it worked for me. the one trick is to use high quality coffee. I use the mayan blend by Jose's from costco. It is available through road shows.

Cottage cheese is my favorite additive to tuna!!

I do water aerobics 5x a week but if you don't have access to a pool, you might try a recumbent bicycle or other stationary bike.

The recipe says it is 16 servings total so divide up and see.

I eat 2 mini cucumbers. 10 calories each

I believe sometimes people don't know how to respond to major changes in our lives. You know you have achieved something wonderful. Please don't let others (no matter how long you have known them) take away the joy you should be feeling at your success.

Thanks!! Made my day. I am 60 (picture was at 57)

Have you tried vanilla flavored almond breeze in your tea. I think it has 20 calories to 1/2 cup

The daily fluctuations are the danger of weighing every day. The time of day matters also. Be careful about eating too few calories. I find I am more successful when I eat all of my allocated calories but not my exercise calories.
-
I never eat my exercise calories. I am 5'9" and 60 years old. I eat 1500 calories or so a day. that seems to work for me.. MFP gave me more but I wasn't successful at that level. I do water aerobics 5-6 times a week. I also do not vary my calories from day to day.

As long as you drink plenty of water, it shouldn't be a problem. Soda doesn't hydrate you like water,

It is more about portion control. Your body needs carbs for energy. Protein can actually make you feel full longer since it takes longer for your body to use protein,
-
I looked at a couple of your diary days. I don't think you are eating enough. Under 1200 calories will put your body in starvation mode and you will not lose.
-
I am not able to exercise a lot due to foot problems but I do not eat back my exercise calories. Also, for me it is better to eat 3 meals a day of similar calorie count. Skipping breakfast is never a good idea. I eat approximately 1300 calories but then again, I am 60 years old and losing weight is more difficult as you…

I usually have greek yogurt. Lots of protein.

Welcome! I am 60 and can certainly relate. I had foot surgery and have problems with weight bearing exercise. I bought 2 CD's for chair exercise. One is chair dancing and the other is chair aerobics. I save calories from other meals so I can have my evening snack. I have greek yogurt (fruit variety) and add chopped nuts.…

Good for you for trying again! I am 60 and have been on this site for a few weeks. I have 80 lbs to lose and have lost 16 so far. For me, I had to come to the realization that I cannot eat like I used to and have to exercise. Logging your food accurately has been the key for me. Best of luck!
-
Not sure how it works but you sprinkle it on your food.
-
I have also tried everything! I have always lost and gained it back. I'm 60 and know it is harder but so far, this program has clicked for me. I guess I finally realized there aren't any fat 90 year old women around. Best of luck to you!

I have a few vanilla wafers when I have a sweet tooth. I also make a baked apple with raisins and diet cherry cola. It is an old weight watchers recipe.
-
Greek yogurt is high in protein. You can combine with a piece of fruit for a total of 240 calories or less.
-
Portion control. I look for food choices that gave me more quantity for fewer calories.
-
I have also struggled but for some reason I found the motivtation this time. I have 1320 calories per day and it works best for me to divide the calories evenly between 3 meals and never skip meals. I also try to have al least 40% of my diet in protein. I am diabetic so that works for me.

Copied to my desktop. Wonderful!

There is more to weight loss than pounds. It should involve learning to eat healthy, Carbs, protein and fats are all necessary for a healthy body. Be careful with any diet that does not promote healthy eating.

The scallops should be OK. Just go easy on the sauce and pasta!
