I wish I knew the answer. Mine will be here soon, and I refuse to weigh myself because of water weight. I really hope I don't blow it with what I'm eating now.

Great job! Now maintain it!:flowerforyou: :drinker:

I would like to go organic...my family wouldn't do it, however, so I'm waiting until college.

Even though this wasn't done for me, THANK YOU ALL for posting info on this topic! Binging was the reason why I never lost weight! I just HAD to eat a load of junk at night before I went to bed...and the sweets! I had a major sweet tooth, and I ALWAYS gave in! After reading the posts in this thread, I have even more…

If I lose about 5 more pounds, I can wear smaller jeans! I have a smaller size at home already, waiting for me to wear them! I hope you continue to have success!

I am a female teenager, and my daily calories to LOSE weight are 1200. To maintain weight, however, I don't know. I thought that 2200 would be for males, but I don't know much about it.

I'm having the same problem! I only have to stick to 1200...ever since I cut down on junk food binging, I NEVER feel hungry anymore! It's been a bit hard to stick to 1200 calories, so I hope I don't go into starvation mode.

I love working out too, particularly with my Wii Fit. I have no clue how many calories I burn while doing it, but it's still a lot of fun!:drinker:

Hi, how is your day? It's fine so far! Do you like meeting new people? Sometimes. But I usually get stabbed in the back later, so it doesn't matter much anymore. How do you feel about alcohol? It's ok to drink occasionally, but I woudn't even do that. Do you know how to drive? Yes. I have my permit. How do you feel about…

I know what you mean! I tend to get cravings for foods I KNOW I shouldn't have to lose weight...like ice cream....normally I'd eat it and think nothing of it, but I refuse to do that! I substitute it for sherbert instead. I also get 'I'm bored' cravings, since I'm used to eating when I'm bored....but I refuse to do…

I, too, just got a Wii Fit! I don't really know how many calories I burn while doing it though......it would be quite beneficial for me to know this, though, so I can log it in my exercise diary correctly....:drinker:

I'm on 1200 calories a day too. I don't have a scale right now, so I don't really know if I've lost weight or not. I think I have, my pants feel a little looser.....I have been sticking to being close to 1200 calories a day so far and I exercise every day. I think 1200 calories is quite reasonable....usually, I get below…

1) a scale.....it would really help me figure out if I've actually lost weight... 2) Wii Fit.....I could exercise with this alone!

I love running! When spring comes I'm hoping to get outside and do it more! I love the feeling of it during and after my shred is over. It feel great and gives me energy!:drinker: :flowerforyou:

I alternate between a Tamilee Webb tape...which I THINK is low-key cardio....and strength training every other day. I run in place every day. I don't feel intense burning, but I do feel a little bit. I certainly hope I get results!

WOW! I didn't think drinking a lot of water would do much for me...guess I was wrong! I'm DEFINITELY gonna try to drink more water now! This will probably help me with my exercise! Thank you Fitness_Chick! You really informed me of the importance of water! I'm going to quit being lazy about drinking it now and make more of…

Well, I'd certainly keep up with the diet and fitness plan you've been sticking to if you've lost any weight with this site.....how long until the surgery? If you know that, it may help you determine how much weight you can lose. Maybe your doctor can help you.

It's really cold right now where I live, so I can't run outside. I don't know if this counts, but I am running in place. I'm going to do it for half an hour a day.

Sara Lee Turkey Breats are really good and low in calories. You can find them in the Deli section of Wal-Mart. I use them on my sandwiches a lot because I don't have many other alternatives.

I know what you mean. It's winter time right now here in PA and I hate it. I'm less motivated to exercise. But look at the bright side....when summer time comes, we can go OUTDOORS to work out ! :flowerforyou:

I won't really reward myself at all. If I do, maybe I'll buy something I really want put off doing other chores for later.

One cup of Frosted Cheerios with half a cup of 2% reduced fat milk. I'm thinking of English Muffins for tomorrow!

Usually fruit. If I don't have any fruit I feel like eating, then I like snacking on fruit and grain bars....Special K Bars, Nutri-Grain Bars and Chewy Granola Bars! They have 90 calories.

Sorry to hear you weren't getting the feedback you needed.:flowerforyou: I felt the same way when I first started here...but you really should stay. The people here can be very motivating and helpful...I got advice with weight loss when I started. I'm sorry if you don't feel like anyone cares about your issues...like…

Thank you all! I lost a ton of weight last year without this site, but I exercised like crazy...a little more than I was comfortable with...and now I'm trying to stick with a combo of strength training and running. I'm going to cut out junk whenever I can from now on, so it's not such a big deal when I do eat junk food…

Ok, I've been eating healthier and exercising since January 5. I"m eating a lot less snacks than usual, exercising more than before (I didn't exercise at all until now), and I've been healthier too. This week I plan on cutting out night snacking COMPLETELY! Although this has been a major improvement, I was just…

Ok, so I thought to lose weight that I should exercise 3 times a day. I have a strength training DVD that is 30 minutes long, and I run in place twice a day...one 15 shred (at least) and one 30 minute shred. I really enjoy both activities, but I was wondering....should I really be doing it 3 times a day? Sometimes I'm a…
