My mom has noticed after only 3 pounds...but I think others will start to notice once I hit the 10 pound mark. That's how it went last year when I lost a lot of poundage.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll probably make a list of things I should be doing (like long-term schoolwork) to keep me busy, and I'm going to make my cut off time 7 pm. I used to so much better than this, than let myself go! Thanks for the help!

We have it for dinner at home, but I eat it in small portions. I'm not eating it anymore, though. It REALLY increases my calories and takes away my evening snack..:grumble:

^I"ve had shockers like that too. Don't worry..if you only eat one each day and burn the calories off, it's not so bad. That's what I've learned to do if what I ate contained more fat than I thought.

I hula hoop on the Wii every day! I don't know how to log it, so I put it as low impact aerobics, 'cause it IS in the aerobic category of the Wii.

As I was looking through my dietary log today, I noticed that I have MAJOR differences in my calorie intake some days. Is this OK? I've heard that weight loss can be successful if you "confuse your metabolism" by eating a noticeable difference in calories each day. I'm on a 1,200 calorie a day diet...will this work for me?…

I always go for grilled chicken at burger joints and an iced tea. At buffet places, I get grilled chicken or fish, a baked potato, and salad...I always stick to veggies for side dishes and fruit for dessert! And I use iced tea or water as a beverage.:drinker:

I don't pay attention to my BMI. I am going to go by how I want to look and feel and what size clothing I fit into. If my BMI doesn't like it, tough!

I have the same problem! I've been lazy about dieting and exercising for the past week. I can't stop snacking every couple of hours....but I'm getting back on track now. I feel 'fat' for eating that way and I hate the feeling, so I won't binge anymore because I don't want to experience the feeling again.

I've been using the Wii too! I run, hula hoop, and do yoga and strength training! I've lost some weight already!

I love bananas! They are easy to burn off, too! I also like 100 calorie pack snacks, yogurt, Nutri - Grain Bars, and Special K Bars

I'm another one who will have to get new clothes when my current ones get baggy.....so I'll have to start saving! When I go down 10 pounds, I'm rewarding myself to a SKIRT!!!!!
